Hard to find any of our past hero's who played in the Invincibles or the cup wins before WW2. SISU were a tin pot club for over 40 years languishing in league 3 and 4 until l1967/68 when they got promoted to the top division. The year their chairman bribed Southampton players to throw a game relegating SUFC. They ,managed to stay in the top flight for the next 30 years raising questions about how they kept avoiding relegation on the last game of the season.

Colin Collingdridge played for us for 142 games with 52 goals scored between 1938 - 1950. He finished his career in the lower leagues playing for SISU.
