Had to do same last season. Sat on my hands before Fleck’s free kick cos you just knew it was going in. Then the joy of all that ridiculous bouncing and Duffy slamming it in to sit them all down. Was behind dugout for that one - superb view of our manager and bench celebrating. Would rather have been with our fans but 4-2nately everything turned out just perfectly.

10 minutes in, we should all start singing "Freddie, Freddie give us a wave, Freddie give us a wave"

I like beer.

I like cheese

I like the smell of the westerly breeze.

I like more than all of these that fact that I've now got a ticket for next Monday.

Reminded me of an old skipping rhyme that kids used to sing in the playground at primary school:

“I like coffee

I like tea

I like sitting on a black man’s knee”.

Wouldn’t be allowed these days. Would be considered non pc and the health and safety squad would confiscate the length of washing line that kids used to skip with for fear of someone getting injured.

I’m grateful to a jolly decent chap, himself a Wednesdayite, who got me 2 tickets for the derby game. It’s touch and go whether I can go though because of work, but I’m hoping to. Could be another memorable one!

I like beer, I like cheese. I'm going to have to watch the match in The Jack Sparrow, Chertsey, but at least I've got all the Mike Oldfield albums.

That’s very close to where I work! Don’t think I’ve ever been in a pub there though.

I’m surprised at how few people know what the post is about. I’m not old enough to remember it, but anyone who has frequented the Cricketers over the past 20(?) years since the CD was made should know?

Again fair play! Must have been horrible not being able to go mental at any of our goals, especially Duffy’s? I just wouldn’t trust myself to stay calm in that situation.

Yep, sometimes knowing a "decent" (cough) Wednesdayite can be useful!

Pigs like Sydney

Can I punch him in the kidney

Don't got a ticket it ain't my pigeon
Won't go to Hillsborough it's against my religion

I currently work in Chertsey, and The Jack Sparrow is two minutes away, which is a good job as I finish work at 8pm that night. Mind you, calling The Jack Sparrow a pub is stretching it a bit. However, it's my lucky bar now with a 100% win record (one match - Middlesbrough the other week).
