........... but I told you so.

I've a feeling certain elements amongst the Blades support have the same characteristics as a 60 year old Paris prostitute. Anything will be good enough for them.

5 wins on the bounce blah blah whoopeee doooo, against the might of Charlton, Watford, Orient etc, I know you can only keep beating what is put in front of you but come on if the grunters had done the same not even the most optimistic pig fan would think they were in top form (mind you they did put 4 past Charlton last week). As for McCabe we'll see how much ambition he has in the next week or so but it's not looking like much at the moment. Looking at the state of the club 8yrs ago yes we had no money and only 3 or 4 decent players and were playing shit football but don't try making out that McCabe changed all that he didn't, Derek Dooley was chairman when Warnock was appointed and he had to sell our best striker to raise the cash. At that time McCabe didn't put any money into the team so in reality nothing much has changed unless of course we are meaning a nice new hotel, fitness clubs, foreign clubs a business centre and two of the corners filling in at the lane. What really has changed on the field, we're still in the same division, we have got arguably better players but we are still playing shit football !!!! Some of you lot are so easily pleased, I wonder if we'll be clapping like seals when the mighty Donny and the pigs turn us over because make no mistake on our present form they will do.

Congratulations.

You didn't answer my question last time though. Who was clapping like seals?

All the lads and lasses who seem to think McCabe, Blackwell etc can do no wrong.
BTW considering how far ahead of the pigs we were just a season or so back, what are peoples feelings now ?
A/have the pigs come on in leaps and bounds or
B/have we as a club taken a few massive steps backwards.

No sitting on the fence no waffle and bullcrap what is it A or B

So erm... no one then.

There isn't a single person on here who hasn't been pointing out the problems.

Just because they don't demand sackings doesn't mean they don't see issues... and you do your point of view no good by claiming that this is the case.

Ha ha ha you'll be telling us next nobody ever ganged up on beighton blade when he posted McCabe = NO AMBITION

People had opposing opinions and he spent a lot of time on the wind up.

This doesn't amount to people clapping like seals.

Yes about 90% had other views, just wondering why if they could see it was a wind up that they felt the need to jump to the defence of MCCabe and co so furiously.

Back on topic what is it A or B ?

I think more of it was out of annoyance of a lack of response to debate other than the same few words.

I think its a bit of both... A & B.

I'd agree. Both A and B. If Pigs had half the financial security and backing that we've enjoyed, they'd be doing far better than us in my opinion.

Definitely... Like a few pigs said after the match too.. If they were in our league position regardless of how we play, they'd be delirious.

I'm firmly in the B camp the last 18 month have seen us regress badly the pigs on the other hand are still massively in debt, but they do have a new chairman who has brought in nothing apart from Howard Wilkinson and a part time physio, they still make do with old crocks, free transfers and a few youngsters but they are our equal at least where it matters and that is on the field.

As others have said.

A and B. We have improved on and off the field. Where as down to various things, you have gone backwords.

After a loss is not a good tie topost if you are not dumping on somebody but I have never been able to dismiss all the good things just cause something goes wrong. I am not furious in my support of McCabe, but I do believe he has done a great job for the club. Blackwell has us in a good position as I thought the target this year was the playoffs and that means being ready for the last three games of the year. Webber was described as the MOTM on Tuesday so why not play him? Why not switch Ward for Lupoli many folk wanted him to start. Had Sharpes shot gone in ....... My best buddies are Wednesday fans so I do not look forward to what is coming, but I still beleive we have what it takes to get up. I would like Hendrie to start but there again I have liked him all along. I think Quinn needs to sit out as we cannot afford two huslte and bustle players (him and Monty) except when we are hanging on. Hull will be a good break and will Blackwell time to get the team ready for Plymouth.

Where have you lot improved ? ok you have slightly but come on only your PR is better nothing else has changed a great deal, that's what makes losing to you lot hard to take.

If we go up - by some miracle - we're going to get reamed week after week after week in the Premiership. We'll make Derby look like Brazil.

From a wednesday fan, i'd like to think that it's all A, but as a football i'd have to say its B. Your midfield is about as composed as a 9 year old, your wingers can't cross, and half your strikers can't be arsed to make a run.

you'v got a point is there any one on this forum would have appointed blackwell as first choice ?
we dont pick the manager its the board.

Perhaps not. But at the time, who else was there?
And then after the impact he had I can't remember saying he shouldn't have been given the job permanently in the summer.

Blackwell’s great at saving a sinking ship he's done it a few times at outher clubs.
but as permanent manager ?

i could have understood had it been until end of this season but why extend his contract??????

i think he would get a lot less stick if it wasn’t for the fact that we could be made to pay to see this long ball for another 3 seasons

Honestly now mate, were you saying this in May after just missing out on the play-offs?

Yes. Initial contract was until summer. Then extended for 4 years?
I thought your point was that his contract shouldn't have been extended...
...I was asking if you thought that in the summer he should have been removed, despite the impact he had on not only saving, but revitalising our season.

Hypocrites, the lot of you, absolutely no-one willing to stick by any player/manager/chairman. I'm suprised anyone is willing to join you after the slating they get after a bad run, how about some positive reinforcement? On the owls forums, they actually try and encourage shite like clarke or jeffers.

sorry to say it but SUFC are rotten to the core........the foundations of the club are crumbling........

McCabe appoints our terry
McCabe appoints f10pp0
McCabe appoints Blackwell

the club is running around like a headless chicken makes Clown Browns forward planning look acceptable !
