I feared something like this might happen....

I wonder what will cause most fake outrage amongst our drama queens - fans running on the pitch to celebrate or Ched Evans chants?

Pitch invading fans singing a Ched Evans ditty as they climb over the barricades whilst holding a red flare,I'm outraged just thinking about it,it could spoil the season for me

No fucker's spoilng my Sunday. No song, no dodgy signing, no pyro, no steward, no shit beer, no soggy chips, no tourist in my seat, nothing, but absolutely fuck all, is going to take away my absolute ball-tingling enjoyment of Sunday.

I'll probably enjoy the match an' all.

Tha might be sat next to me.

This story featured prominently on the Guardian website the other (think it was the 8th most read article?) and I was under the impression that these ten cautions were very recent offences. I think that merits a reaction. Some here seem to suggest that it is a regurgitation of old news from 2012, if so it is an absolute disgrace and shows a clear agenda against us.

It highlights how the offenders were from Sheffield, writing a thread on here about it doesn't do the damage, the idiots (some, though a tiny minority of our fans) and the journalists do. I'm not being hysterical, its a fact that this incident indirectly puts the club in a bad light.

As always, if people object to the content of what I post I invite them to report me to the admins and/or ask that this is moved to the off topic section. I find it puzzling that people are so riled by it, you are free to ignore what I post XD

(p.s I do find it fascinating how I'm analysed on this issue. Yes I probably have commented about it more than most, though a simple scroll through on my profile shows a variety of SUFC issues, but have no agenda. But to set the record straight: After his first conviction I was adamant that he was innocent and should return. I then went to the 2012 appeal and it changed my mind that he shouldn't come back, I anticipated the bad publicity and became less convinced about his innocence based on what I heard though still would have found him not guilty personally but understood and respected the conviction. After he was cleared whilst in division I wanted him back only to sit on the bench should Sharp get injured. I clearly stated that now we have left this division there are surely better targets we could look for, but que sera sera)

Well I suppose on the bright side you won't get any splinters in your arse.

If I've got this right you are/were:

Ched in
Ched out
Ched in (bench)
Ched out

I only hope I don't have to stand behind you in the pie queue while you deliberate over balti / meat and tata.

Is that related to the possible incoming of Evans or have we hired the fella they used at Mandela's funeral to let the hard of hearing enjoy Wilder's victory speech too ?

Always found the name of that page slightly strange. If everything (I'm not casting doubt here btw) she said was true it doesn't mean that the alleged offence took place. In fact the statement is significantly misleading making it appear she made an accusation, which of course she never did. The correct terminology would be 'I support her' IMO

Some 'view from' comments:

'FFS what is the matter with them. He is toxic. Hope they go down. Shame on them'

'I wish Jessica Ennis-Hill would speak up again and ask for her name removing from that stand'

'any petitions or letters to sign?'

+1 for the Ennis-Hill stand renaming.

The Alan Woodward Stand will do just nicely thank you
