looking forward to it might even buy a scarf to fit in

Flat cap. miserable dour face and a packet of Werthers to fit in at the Lane.

If you do bring a scarf don't twirl it or some miserable git will tell you to 'Si darn'.

Enjoy the game and in the absence of a team in green, cheer on the chaps in the red and white stripes.

Hey up Gaz
There's a few Hibee Blades on here mate and a few who travel to games up there.Make sure Raul buys his round first.
I had a three year stint in the mid 2000s with a season ticket at United and Hibs, that was expensive and knackering.
I'm Hibernian Blade on Hibs.net - Enjoy the game,Greasy Chip Butty's not quite as emotional as Sunshine On Leith but it's not bad.
GGTTH !

To be honest I don't take a huge amount of interest in Scottish football but, as far as anthems go the rendition of Sunshine on Leith when you lot won the Scottish Cup certainly takes some beating.

. I echo this, if you've not seen that rendition, well worth a look. I'm a Sons supporter when it comes to Scottish football but almost made me change my allegiance ;)

Thanks everyone Raul Has got me a ticket for tonight not sure where but looking forward to it might even buy a scarf to fit in :)
Welcome to The Blades Gaz. Hope we give a good impression and enjoy the experience.

You're a Hibs fan, which means you love Steven Fletcher right? GTFOOH.

Well I love Steven Fletcher - he's doing a grand job (along with several other crocks) siphoning 40k a week off the Pork :D

Prefer the Jambos myself ever since I spat on the Heart of Midlothian - must be a conscience thing. Super city Edinburgh

Welcome to the fold, Blades and Hibs are similar - working class clubs with wankers for neighbours - father in law is a massive Hibee originally from Port Seaton, been to ER many times, goes on about the famous five forward line like we do Hagan, Curry and Shaw - unfortunately when he moved down here he opted for the dark side!! UTB FTP

My dad is originally from port seaton

Should you have trouble differentiating certain colours, Hibs kit and the S6 pigskin look identical. A chance here to steer Gaz away from the dark side. COYRAWW.
P.S. Jambos my other team.

Thanks for sorting me out guys. Good night all round made hard work off it and I was getting hyped up at the end.

Win again against Millwall at the weekend and you will be in with a shout at the playoffs

Next time I am down I will be back

hey everyone

Hibs fan down working in the area for a few days and thinking of going to the game tomorrow. Where is the best to sit in the ground and is it easy enough to get a ticket. Where is best to go for a pint etc before the game

I’m a Meadowbank fan but hope you had fun.

Hibs are my Scottish team and have been for 30 odd years.
In 1986 I went to ER to a cup game against Celtic.Arriving at the ground at about 3.20 everyone had gone in apart from one guy walking towards me in the street. He had no colours on .In my best Edinburgh accent I said to him "Have u got a ticket?"
He said no which didn't give away whether he was home or away.I then said "We could try and get in the other end".I then followed him to the away end which gave away that he was also a Hibee.
We managed to get in and stood near the railings separating the fans when Celtic scored. Both of us stood motionless .On seeing this a copper shouted to us to climb over to the Hibs end before we got battered.Sadly on climbing over I lost this guy and never saw him again.Celtic scored a late penalty to equalise so I decided to leave. On walking out of the ground I heard a massive roar which was a last minute winner by Hibs.Gutted I missed it but it was a day I'll never forget.

Doubtful, saw him queuing for his ticket with raul :)
You say that, but consider that due to his Host's impeccable timing, the very, very first piece of play he ever clapped eyes on at BDTBL was a 30 yard side foot volley into the top corner. Most of us have had to wait decades.

Bastards held Celtic to a 2-2 draw in September. Travelled all that way for nowt.

Still prefer them to the jam rags though.
