I've just been in a time machine and seen a news paper dated Sunday 18th April 2010.

It read:

Sheffield United confirmed champions at the sty!

Sheffield united were confirmed Championship champions 2010 after a convincing 4.0 victory at Hillsborough.

The result also meant that Sheffield Wednesday were relegated.

The article continued, but i don't know what else it said as my alarm woke me up.

Is that such a stupid thought that it could actually come true? Promotion at Hillsborough, i don't think i'd stop drinking!

If you're a blade and that happened it would be one big birthday for us all. We could celebrate long into the night. I wouldn't leave the ground until they made me. Then i'd just get pissed!

Promotion at the Sty very possible... We got promotion with an away at Cardiff with 4 games to go last time. Although it relied on Leeds slipping up.

So its more than possible.

I don't think they'll be going down though....

Its my best mates birthday that day too, if you are him then its some sort of double life you lead On a serious note I'm going to try and sort us both a ticket to the game at the sty for his pressie, cos neither of u has ever been. I know its a bit premature, but if anyone can sort it out or help me in this then theres an ice cream in it for you :thumbup:

And if we were crowned champions there it would be a case of "Carlsberg don't do football league promotions...."
