Hutchinson Cheat

It's against the rules of the game, deemed to be unsporting behaviour. If it's caught the player is booked and an indirect free-kick is given. So, yes, it is cheating.

Fair enough. I didn't know that. Refs highly unlikely to hear that shout over all the noise.

Still reckon we'd be chuffed if one of ours did it and scored, though. Fickle bunch we are.

No surprise they did similar all over the pitch. An unsportsmanlike "keepers" in our box and a stonewall penalty which the ref missed in their box.
Cheating but then we are talking about them, it is what they are good at from their top of their club to the bottom.

Its an odd one this, I've always wondered how much it goes off in the professional game.

Never seen (or heard) it happen in park football probably because there aren't 30,000 people making a noise and the refs at that level absolutely live for this kind of thing (see also kick offs which don't go sufficiently far forward and throws which aren't launched 20 yards given as being 'foul').

Used to play in a kick about 5 a side years ago with a kid who'd been on the books at Leeds, an absolute bell end and thick as mince, he would give false shouts all the time instinctively. Light years ahead of everybody else there ability wise though and couldn't understand what he was doing playing with us, never mind cheating to gain an advantage, wasn't even doing it just for the sake of shit banter.

Hard to get too worked up about it as its almost beyond the control of the ref in that situation. Even if the ref heard it he's not gonna know its not come from Henderson who's ended up making a mistake. Fleck shouldn't have taken the risk....maybe perversely because the communication/organisation at the back is that good he felt he could do it. He won't be doing it again anyway :)

I've heard Billy do the same thing, more than once, shouting leave it to opposition players. Enjoyed it then.

Lets be honest, if Sharp shouted that to lets say Hector and scored from it we would be calling him a hero on here. Karma got Hutchinson, but like Wilder said I don't really mind that.....we've all done it in the past while playing football.

According to Wilder he shouted "keepers" and that was why Fleck didn't intercept the cross! the cheating git
I must admit that’s very funny! That’s old school Sunday league.

Thought Hutchinson had a really good game for them, far better than Bannan who seems to go missing everytime we play them but is apparently a world beater at any other time of the season

I wondered why Fleck left it, he was shaping up to knock it clear then just sort of stopped.
Cheating bastard

Were going to have to issue Henderson with a code word next time we play them.
When the goalie is coming to claim it he should shout "CHEATINGWENDYTBASTARD" instead. This could be passed down through generations of keepers so that we will always remember what a cheating bunch of tw@ts they are

All of those who are having a dig at Fleck for not clearing it what would you say if it actually was Henderson calling for it and Fleck ignored him and tried to clear it, volleying him in the face or something in the process? You'd say that Fleck shouldn't have tried to clear it because the keeper had called for it.

There's a reason why this sort of thing is against the rules.

I certainly suspected that. Especially as it was Hutchinson. Dirty bastard that he is.

It made no sense for Fleck not to clear it, he was well within reach without risking an own goal.

So their only chance in 3 games against us was cheated, not created.

Morgan Fox missed a sitter last game.

He looked busy but didn’t actually do much apart from run around a lot and foul people. I don’t mind giving decent players credit but he isn’t. Aarons and Iorfa were the dangerous ones.

I usually shout 'thundercats' to unsuspecting opposition players whilst playing five a side. Just to let them know I mean business.

Spookily, I always used to shout 'thundercunts' to unsuspecting opposition players whilst playing five a side.

If the referee or linesman had seen and heard this directly it would have been a booking for him. However very difficult to police and the officials on the night were shite.

It’s a deliberate attempt to illegally influence play

Better known as “bringing the game into disrepute.”)
– Verbally distracts an opponent during play

But what if in flecks opinion, Hendo was going to get to it before the striker? Should he ignore the keeper or leave the ball and risk a goal?

I assume you mean 'wasn't going to get to it...'

In that situation then he should obviously have cleared it but the situation with Hutchinson happened quite quickly and he obviously made a snap decision. But it's all about trust isn't it. If Fleck trusts Henderson and he thought Henderson had shouted that it was his then I can understand why he might have left it.

It's probably been an issue through the ages, but always nice to call the pigs ; cheating basteds !!!

So basically Hutchinson is a mimic as well as a dirty fecker.

To be fair it’s a good edition to have in a side especially if they’re basically a shower of shite. Imagine, yet another tedious home game is drawing to a close at the Sty, but Hutch saves the day by breaking into his ‘Brucie routine.

‘Good game, good game!’

I thought the thread must have been about Don Hutchison - one of the most imperious divers at Bramall Lane since Jacques Cousteau, all the more impressive because to my knowledge Jacques Cousteau was never there.
