noticed there all in cup?
The cup is totally different than the league.
how many in the league then we didnt play with big man little man and won? And how many did we loose?
And same with big man little man up front win/ loose ratio?
I just dont see what good its doing selling hulse if BT is injured without cover at least.
Henderson has been mention, but IMO i dont think hes better than hulse.
Its the cup FFS!
if your going on with the cup, barnsley are the 3/4 best team in the country!
Its a different kettle of fish to the league.
We have 4 strikers if hulse goes and BT is injured but they all play similar roles. Its like having 4 left wingers and no right winger.
Yes im not grumbling at him going for £2million. What im getting at is why are we selling him, the only cover for BT, when he could be out for 8 weeks. makes no sense at all.

Makes perfect sense to me, from a football point of view, business point of view and personal point of view!
1. Football point of view
Get rid of a player who is still recovering from a bad injury with no guarantees he will be the same again, who hasn't scored for 18 months and looked right off it last season and replacing him with one who scored 14 times last season, is a feisty son-of-a-bitch, and will run through walls.
2. Business point of view
Hulse will have been a major wage earner at the club. My guess is that Henderson will get considerably less, and there is minimal difference in the fee paid! With only 12 months left on his contract, it was probably a good time to get what we could for Hulse!
3. Personal Point of View
Hulse probably needed a new challenge and we needed someone to keep pushing Beattie (he does have a bit of an idle streak IMO). Hulse at this stage didn't need that sort of challenge, Henderson would probably relish it (I knew I'd get the pun in first, I thank you!!!![]()

Yes I agree with SEB, particularly on point 1 but I can understand Keenzy's issue about getting shut before we have a suitable replacement. I think Stead is great but he isn't a target man. We've always done better over a campaign with a successful big man, little man combo.
Ok popsRead the posting again, bugger-lugs! Henderson is already tied up!!![]()
