It was utter dog shit.

We win the all back....and then take an ave to knock it about between ourselves whilst we wait for the opposition to get back and get back into their set defensive positions before we actually venture forward.

I've seen sloths have greater speed. The only time we started getting the ball forward with a bit more pace as the last 5 mins when they were panicking.

Then on the times we patiently work our way forward, we get it out wide....and the lads out wide are continually shite at crossing a ball.

Dear dear me. That was bad United.

If wilder defends that or cannot see the problems which we caused ouselves tonight, then he's not the manager I think he is.

Did Billy play?

Just awful, all over the pitch, just not switched on at all, the quality was woeful, I wish Sky wouldn't stop showing our games.

Some of it attributed to how Adkins had them set up, and let's be honest it worked a treat, the key now will be for Wilder and Knill to have a plan B during the match because as of yet when we go behind and teams nullify our wing play we look clueless.

Still not out of the playoff picture, but we need to be winning games like this to stand any chance.

Roll on to the next game and another struggling side who will play very similar.

We never won or even contested 1 second ball in the final 3rd, Service into the final third was poor but we made it easy for them Dawson won everything. Fleck looked better when more central after the changes but our use of the ball was awful we started sloppy and slow and never recovered, big opportunity to put real pressure on those around us missed I’m afraid

Fucking rubbish. Feel like Wilder is bottling it which I can't actually believe im saying. The change in style is over the past month or so is baffling...it just doesn't work!

That's the thing isn't it, the players have set the standard so games like that are far from acceptable.

Games like that would be unacceptable for the team we had under David Weir. We showed nothing tonight. So angry with them for that complete no show.

5 utterly abject midfield displays.

Strikers had little to work with but did little to force the matter

All the defence, minus Stevens, played well.

Baldock best player for me.

Reverted to slow passing, no movement, take too long to control, give ball away, hoof.

May I refer you all to my post #21. Never Dis Dem Gods.

I'd usually post the highlights thread but there is fuck all for us to watch.

‘Blame’ might be the wrong word, but JOC didn’t get forward anywhere near enough. Our only good spell (the five minutes after 30 mins) coincided with the only time that JOC pushed on. I don’t know whether he was under instruction but he seemed very subdued.

Tired for me. Ever present for the whole season.

Well I'm glad I didn't pay to watch that utter shite only Blackman comes out of that game with any credit ................. really piss poor United. It is hard to remember a performance that bad maybe we have to go back to the Adkins days it was that bad.
Hate to say it but this result is down to Wilder fucking about bringing his favourites in to the team when they are not ready we really should not be starting Leonard until he gets up to speed it took Lundstram half a dozen games to get anywhere near after he was thrown in at the deep end, play your best team and ease the new signings in slowly FFS. This is what you get though when you recruit League one players you get League one performances until they adapt to the higher standards of the Championship.
I think we can now forget about the play off's typical United thrown a great opportunity away in January a bit of decent investment would have really pushed us on but as ever we do it on the cheap and hope lower league potential will come good. As shown tonight that will only get you so far in this division we looked second best in every department to a Hull side in the bottom three. Says it all when the back three are holding their arms out looking for someone in midfield to get into space to receive a pass but having no other option than to launch it long.

I really do hope that wilder has a real go at the players after tonight!!!!. I just don't see how he can defend the players after a performance like that? I'm really pissed off and angry. SORT IT OUT WILDER. UTB

The question for me is why not make a change at half time?

It was obvious Leonard was having a mare and we needed Duffy to keep possession. Why wait til we're behind to make the change? Just seemed to compound a bad decision.

Sorry mate, but you're letting emotion get the better of you...

We had a bad game and played awfully, but throwing Wilder and his whole policy under the bus is frankly childish...

And we’ve also lost when we’ve played well. Our league position is a fair reflection
Agree, we had a forward looking team, playing fluid top Championship Football ‘TOP OF THE LEAGE’ looking good and then come January and we bring in 3 players who are no better than the ones we have, just like for like players. CW feel he needs to rotate the squad to look after his new recruits, you don’t have to play badly to lose you place because CW Just rotates regardless. We needed investment in January and we didn’t get it, but if CW doesn’t ask for it and just accepts like for like Players.

Wilder has thrown in the towel regarding the play-offs.

Brilliant interview on sky, take a listen !!!!

Is that a shot across the bow of the board :) I hope so!

Not throwing anybody under the bus but you have to admit Wilder got it badly wrong with the team selection tonight, no excuse for playing players who clearly have yet to adapt to a higher standard of football that is if they have it in them.

Yep. Totally. He should have played Duffy from the start.

However, I'll criticise him for his team selection but not his recruitment. He's been brilliant at recruitment from Leagues One and Two...

Cant say much only got to hear last 40mins on RS as this pilloick forgot his headphones. But i know its a important 3pts dropped in our 8 game part of season of very winnable games, that keith called it 1 of worse performances hes seen this season. Shame they carried on from 2-1 QPR team instead the 1 that was 2-0 up & comfortable. I hate that im correct but talked about my worries about hull. because you know that way football is. adkins would beat us on his return. That taking nothing away from we were awful. But its just sods law that performance happened in our 1st match v adkins.

Im glad im not the players today or tomorrow. Not been able to see tv but seen quotes on Twitter & it would be warnock mk2 chucking teacups / 'die for 3 points' mentality. Because i think you might have to go back to the clough era last time i heard such damming citersium newly promoted Fleetwood home game we lost 3-1

I know he sets high standards & righly so. But some of quotes were worrying, that he is off if premier league come calling. Which is highly worrying because we are overachieving undoubtedly we should be in Wednesday position. As i thought 14th pre season. Lose him we are in the crap big time next season
