Hull same team again ??

Think we will assess and go again subject to fitness. Play Saturday and the players get 2 weeks to recharge there batteries. The last 3 games must surely want to make everyone play

yes yes yes,, They are finding their playing pattern, tempo and groove. Be crazy to break that up. Especially Sharpy, McGoldrick and Duffy, this is where all the goals and dangerous play is coming from. crazy to break it up now they are purring like pussycats with buckets of smooth creamy milk !!

I still think he will make changes, only 48 hours between games, hull are a easier opponent than Blackburn on paper and we are at home, reckon a few players will be rested. I know they are professional athletes who can play 2 games in a week etc etc but we will see I guess, everyone thought he was going to change it last night and did he bollocks.

I can’t see who he could drop to be fair ... all are playing top of their game. So injuries aside could be the same 11 but make earlier subs when tiredness kicks in.

Depending on conditioning, 2-3 changes at most. Ideally the same team but we need to be realistic. Games come around very fast. Duffy and the strikers should be left alone whilst they’re playing like this.

I think Clarke is a likely starter for McGoldrick, particularly given what he did to them last season. Aside from that, I don't think there'll be any more changes, he can bring on the subs with 30 to go when we're 3 up :)

Number 1, is Paul Coutts
Number 2, is Paul Coutts
Number 3, is Paul Coutts
Number 4, is Paul Coutts
Number 5, is Paul Coutts
Number 6, is Paul Coutts
Number 7, is Paul Coutts
Number 8, is Paul Coutts
Number 9, is Paul Coutts
Number 10, is Paul Coutts
Number 11, is Paul Coutts

V Hull, I'd go...

Henderson
Basham - Egan - O'Connell
Baldock - Coutts - Norwood - Fleck - Stevens
Clarke - Sharp

I’d consider four changes, but not necessarily make them all. Johnson in for Stevens, Coutts in for Norwood and Stearman in for Egan. The replaced players are all going on international break. The team didn’t do too well after the last one, so maybe a change in tact is required. Then, simply for preservation purposes, I’d consider giving McGoldrick a rest too. Clarke enjoyed Hull at Bramall Lane a lot last year.

Can't see why you would want to see Duffs and McGoldie replaced Matt. Agree with Baldock but not Leon. Leave Coutts on the bench until later on when Duffs tires.

He will start the same 11.

And probably make exactly the same changes as well, barring injuries etc.

Three games in a week. 2 very tough away games will have taken their toll.

Despite how shit Hull are, the Adkins factor and the fact the league is tough and unpredictable means we still need to be at 100%

Completely. As was mentioned at the time, the Birmingham performance was less about the fact we made any changes and more to do with the number and type of change. That would sit well with those that hate to see any changes ever, but I’m inclined to trust the advice Wilder will be getting from his staff. Given how well the current XI are playing, we need to ensure we can get them on the pitch playing at the top of their game as much as possible – that doesn’t always mean playing everyone when there’s a number of fixtures in quick succession.

Same 11 if possible. They have a two week break thereafter.

Can sub the likes of Norwood and Egan during the game, if we feel they made need it for the international break.

We will make changes, presumably Norwood, Stevens and Egan given they will be used in the international break.
Then maybe Duffy and McGoldrick if they're tired. Wilder did say 5 changes might have been too many last time so might only make 2 or 3.

Credit to CW for not making changes yesterday. He now needs to do the same on Saturday barring any injury. We need a good start against Dull as they will be in the biggest room in the house on Saturday. Subs to compensate for tiredness second half. No changes to the forwards and midfield will keep the momentum going.

Wilder won't want to change a winning team but he has to manage tiredness, injuries etc. You can bet all of those lads want to carry on playing though (and yes, I hope he keeps the same team).

Wilder was playing a few mind games before Blackburn (about resting players), so may do so again.

I don't see why we need changes. Play Wed then Sat is no different to playing Sat then Tues, which is what usually happens. Especially as after Sat there's a two week break.
Henderson : no change
Basham Egan OConnell : No way that unit should be changed
Norwood Fleck : undroppable
Freeman Stevens: Definitely need to start, with a view to change after half time.
Duffy : For me he plays the first half whilst Coutts plays the second or other way round
Sharp : undroppable
McGoldrick : For me he needs to start with a view to possible change for Leon after half time.

If it ain't broke don't fix it, coutts on at half time maybe, give him some more mins. As much as I'd love it, I dont think we should start coutts, we've waited this long so why risk it for the sake of a week until he's fully dialed up

I don’t think we’re talking dropping, more like resting, but I agree with what you say.

Play the same team if he can, however Clarke for McGoldrick and Duffy for someone are the logical players to rest if he decides to. Hope he doesn’t though. I’d rather 60 mins of Duffy and ease Coutts back in.

Players who may be changed. Freeman, Stevens, Duffy, Sharp, Mcgoldrick.I'm predicting Clarke will start and possibly Coutts for Norwood or Duffy. Johnson for Stevens.Could be wrong though.

It might be 2 games in 7 days but it’s 3 in 8 days. There are also those lads on international duty. I think we will see changes. Although I don’t like what I’m going to say I think Woodburn will get a run in the 2nd half. I think Stears will start and I think Coutts and Laffs will both get game time.
