Hull Fans weren't happy

Just had a text from my mate who’s a Hull fan. Clarke is a fucking donkey apparently and he would have scored 4 against their defence. This is the same guy who said 5 games ago that they’d be above us by the time we played today. I just love all those people who are spending a while removing their feet from their mouths at the moment. Long may it continue.

It’s interesting how these so called Premier League teams go into a free fall. They had nothing to offer.

Their manager's getting the sack now.

He'll probably be quite pleased.

He'll get another job immediately.

He's a slut.

Genuinely nice bloke who probably didn't realise how much shit Hull were in when offered the job.

Poor bloke lost his career because he saved a cat

He really does look like a pig, though.

Obvious employment waiting for him when the Millenium Culture Tigers give him the boot.

only thing this game meant was us getting payback for the Wembley game

Really? Did we not get three points? Did we not have a 27,000 crowd loving our football?

I didn’t give a thought to Wembley and I’m pretty sure not many others did. I was too busy enjoying my team’s performance.

Give your friend kind regards from Crab Industries......................

I don’t like em and that makes the win all the more sweet , little be early to celebrate a win wankers when there’s another 45 minutes to play ... a little bit of karma For Wembley

Hull reminds me of the old Hole In The Road (kids, ask your parents). It’s a shithole with a big fish tank. That’s all. And it’s not even in proper Yorkshire.
That is the best quote of the day for me. Nearly spilled my tea

They were singing at the beginning of the game "2-1 and you fucked it up" now we all have sung this wonderful little ditty over the years during a game but these hilarious dickheads were singing about Wembley from around what around 3 and a half years ago.life must be wonderful in la la land

Have all their plastic fans fucked back off to supporting egg chasers now?

To think that this lot lured Harry away for a few million.
How the mighty fall.

" his work at Scunthorpe and Southampton was outstanding", I thought it was oustanding at Sheffield United as well.

All we have to do is keep hold of Wilder and watch our rivals implode around us. There are so many clubs now run by people with little idea of how to run clubs. They're making the same mistakes we did ten years ago.

I think with Hull, it's like the Alam's are willingly running the club down. Surely this is a strange strategy given that it's up for sale, making the club less and less valuable?

I'm not sure once you're out of the PL. It's so easy to piss money away and get nowhere. Rule of thumb based on scant information on recent sales suggests around £50m for a championship club and £25m for a L1 club (decent size, with potential). At what point do you just think 'fuck it, I'm not spending any more'? You could easily do £25m just to get to the playoffs and lose.

And how much have they got left to lose? You have to be seriously rich to just keep spending and spending. We went through all this with KM and almost went through it again with the Prince, but Wilder saved us.

I was listening to Simon Jordan the other night and he was asked about if managers were often sacked because it's cheaper than changing the players and his reply was 'not really, you get a new manager in and the first thing he says is "we have to change the players" so you end up paying off the previous manager and his staff and then you still have to spend on new players".

The problem with football is that there aren't that many people around who understand the technical aspects of it but are also intelligent enough and properly educated to be able to think analytically and strategically. A staggeringly small number really when you consider the money involved.
