It didn't effect the result and we were shite regardless... But there were a couple of bellends with refs whistles who deliberately targeted our crosses, balls forward in the final third and the Clarke half chance.

I agree it was an heavy touch but the part I disagree with is that he still could’ve done something with it.
Tennis balls on the pitch when we are just getting into the game ... 'Protest' whistles conveniently when we are attacking.. that game should have been called off imo
Dear oh dear........Of course we would have won at a canter had it not been for those pesky tennis balls.......
Oh and their goal and their 5 shots on target against our 3 but we would have won! Surely we can protest at our next match about this!........
Throwing balls on the pitch and blowing whistles, what a fucking bag of wank, shit place, shit club, shit fans.
Not about the outcome, it's about the fact that our players have nothing to do with the situation their fans think they are in with Allam, neither do our fans, who have paid money and took the time to travel the ground to watch football.
If anybody thinks a whistle or a tennis ball lost our game then I think they need to watch a bit more football
And what is your point?
Shit manager? Remind me again of the score? Yes we were poor but come on they won and we were wank on the night. We should have beat them but we didn't. That's football.......
I said in the pre match view thread we should have let it be known in advance that we would walk off if the whistling happened. Yes we were shit and lost but the fact remains it was blatant cheating and they did try to affect the result. The problem is we were so abject we're hardly likely to raise a protest.
Until the authorities do something about this blatant cheating then it will continue and have an adverse effect on the game in general. Supporters of teams who do this get no respect from me for their plight. Coventry and Dull nothing to choose between them both cheats and deserve all that happens to them. Charlton on the other hand I'm pleased to see are close to getting their Chairman out. They know how to organise a protest without it significantly affecting a game.
This post sums it up perfectly and is the difference between people understanding that we all know we played crap but it doesn’t mean we should lose because of it. How many times have teams played crap against us and got the result? Too many! The whistle that disrupted Clarke's chance is enough to put the result in doubt. In football it's not always the best team that wins.Zero sympathy after their cheating.
We were shite Foxy but how can anyone say for certain that it didn’t affect the result? We’ve pummelled teams before and lost or drawn and Hull weren’t exactly any good.It didn't effect the result and we were shite regardless... But there were a couple of bellends with refs whistles who deliberately targeted our crosses, balls forward in the final third and the Clarke half chance.
We were crap and didn't deserve anything but the incident you talk about was a big one a rare occasion where we were in ,a dgood position and could have changed the game. The players owe us one after tonightThe performance was awful, but Clarke was in a great position at one stage, then stopped when a whistle was blown. He obviously thought he was off side. Funny how the whistling usually happened in their final third.
Beat me to it Gee
Me too. If this should happen again maybe our fans should take whistles and tennis balls in too, to be used as and when, to OUR advantage. No doubt chaos would ensue and we'd be the bad guys of course.
#nosurprisetoseeapricklikeyouheretodayWhy not you moaned and groaned bout our pitch invasion against you lot, then you done it down at sisufields against Northampton. You might aswell moan and groan about last night and do it maybe against Burton or someone. Personally I think our supporters trust should've contacted yours and let you know what was going to happen. But there you go hindsight is a wonderful thing.

A Saturday bellend, nearly as bad as a Wednesday bellend. Why not you moaned and groaned bout our pitch invasion against you lot, then you done it down at sisufields against Northampton. When Clarke was through and some muppet blew a whistle, he stopped thinking he was offside. So the op has a point.
Years ago, if a whistle was blown in the crowd, the ref stopped the game and the cops intervened and the culprit, fingered by those around him/her, was invited to leave the ground..
