Hull fans a disgrace

It didn't effect the result and we were shite regardless... But there were a couple of bellends with refs whistles who deliberately targeted our crosses, balls forward in the final third and the Clarke half chance.

I agree it was an heavy touch but the part I disagree with is that he still could’ve done something with it.

Yeah Wiz, but to try to do something with it, would've been to admit that his shit touch had just cost us a gilt edged opportunity, the whistle was his 'Get out of jail free card' ;)

Genuine question, all those that disagree with the OP where you at the match tonight?

Worse game of the season tonight, but that was disgusting what their fans were up too. I didn't go to the game against Cov last season and thought our fans in the ground overreacted a bit, but having gone tonight I can understand 100%.

The authorities should dock Hull 3 points tonight for their fans behaviour.

Tennis balls on the pitch when we are just getting into the game ... 'Protest' whistles conveniently when we are attacking.. that game should have been called off imo

Dear oh dear........Of course we would have won at a canter had it not been for those pesky tennis balls.......

Oh and their goal and their 5 shots on target against our 3 but we would have won! Surely we can protest at our next match about this!........

If anybody thinks a whistle or a tennis ball lost our game then I think they need to watch a bit more football

Not about the outcome, it's about the fact that our players have nothing to do with the situation their fans think they are in with Allam, neither do our fans, who have paid money and took the time to travel the ground to watch football.

Throwing balls on the pitch and blowing whistles, what a fucking bag of wank, shit place, shit club, shit fans.

Shit manager? Remind me again of the score? Yes we were poor but come on they won and we were wank on the night. We should have beat them but we didn't. That's football.......

And what is your point?

Not about winning or fucking losing, it's about showing a bit of respect to OUR (maybe not yours) fans, who paid money and travel costs to go to watch a game of football. If they have an issue with their owner, fine, that should not be an issue of ours.

And what is your point?

My point is that their misery with their owners doesn't need to be inflicted on our fans. Same as the issue with Coventry and their owners. Sure, complain and stuff, but don't inflict it on us.

As it happens, if you read my other posts, I have no issue with the football outcome, we were out muscled and beat by a team that were better on the night.

Point out where I said "shit manager"?, I have no problem with the football, I have already said we were second best, they were first to the ball and fighting all night.

Yes. Two different arguments here. Total disrespect to the game from their supporters . But we didn't lose because of the disruptions. And don't question my allegience to the blades please.

I said in the pre match view thread we should have let it be known in advance that we would walk off if the whistling happened. Yes we were shit and lost but the fact remains it was blatant cheating and they did try to affect the result. The problem is we were so abject we're hardly likely to raise a protest.

Until the authorities do something about this blatant cheating then it will continue and have an adverse effect on the game in general. Supporters of teams who do this get no respect from me for their plight. Coventry and Dull nothing to choose between them both cheats and deserve all that happens to them. Charlton on the other hand I'm pleased to see are close to getting their Chairman out. They know how to organise a protest without it significantly affecting a game.

A slippery, slippery slope . How many ways are there to cheat at football. The players con the ref by diving. IMO the player who cheats should be banned Study the video at a slow speed and come up with the correct decision
Then we have blatant time wasting. How many goalies get warning after warning with no card, and very little time added on Regarding this point, no time should be added if it benefits the cheats.
Players appealing for a decision to go their way when they know full well they are in the wrong.

Tonight, as with the game at Coventry, supporters can now join in Years ago, if a whistle was blown in the crowd, the ref stopped the game and the cops, no stewards then. intervened and the culprit, fingered by those around him/her,
was invited to leave the ground.

So where are e now? Whistle blowing in the crowd has been accepted as the norm. How long before the neanderthals attempt to stop an opponent by a shrill whistle?
I quite agree that the whistling had little bearing on the result against Hull. We got what we deserved , but let us nip whistling in the bud and stuff the whistler with a ragman's trumpet Bell end to the fore.

There should probably be some sort of retrospective action against Hull, but I have no idea what is proportionate to be honest

Take the 3 points off them ? But then do you have to do it for every club, if a couple of lone idiots take whistles into a ground. Probably a fine is more appropriate.

I’m sure the ref will have been briefed and the players told to just carry on, no yellows for playing on etc. But it’s difficult to alter the mindset of stopping when the whistle is blown.

Still shite and we deserved to loose whatever and In fairness it was Hull away, at a half full stadium, not Galatasary with pyros going off all over the place.

The whistle that disrupted Clarke's chance is enough to put the result in doubt. In football it's not always the best team that wins.Zero sympathy after their cheating.
This post sums it up perfectly and is the difference between people understanding that we all know we played crap but it doesn’t mean we should lose because of it. How many times have teams played crap against us and got the result? Too many!

The whistling clearly affected us and not them because they only did it when we got near their box, it’s a form of cheating as they gained an unfair advantage from it.

Hull weren’t much better than us ‘btw’ either.

We were shite Foxy but how can anyone say for certain that it didn’t affect the result? We’ve pummelled teams before and lost or drawn and Hull weren’t exactly any good.

Overall it was depressing and I suppose we just have to move on.

The performance was awful, but Clarke was in a great position at one stage, then stopped when a whistle was blown. He obviously thought he was off side. Funny how the whistling usually happened in their final third.
Beat me to it Gee
We were crap and didn't deserve anything but the incident you talk about was a big one a rare occasion where we were in ,a dgood position and could have changed the game. The players owe us one after tonight

For me the ref should have stopped the game pointed to the centre circle and given the points to us. Would stop this shit happening again.

What if there had been a few pool balls .. darts chucked on with the tennis balls.. the stewards had obviously not checked what the fans were bringing in ... its going to put our players off their game especially as all the objects were aimed at them ... Hull should get a massive fine

Me too. If this should happen again maybe our fans should take whistles and tennis balls in too, to be used as and when, to OUR advantage. No doubt chaos would ensue and we'd be the bad guys of course.

Why not you moaned and groaned bout our pitch invasion against you lot, then you done it down at sisufields against Northampton. You might aswell moan and groan about last night and do it maybe against Burton or someone. Personally I think our supporters trust should've contacted yours and let you know what was going to happen. But there you go hindsight is a wonderful thing.

A Saturday bellend, nearly as bad as a Wednesday bellend. :)

If only we could go back to those days!........... Simple pleasures.........

Utter wankers.

If they just stuck to what they were supposed to do I would've supported them.

But, predictably, they carried on throughout the game, especially when we were attacking.

Piss poor and blatant cheating. Infuriating.

Look forward to seeing that non entity of a club relegated.

if you can't beat em join em.........everyone just take whistles to our home games and blow em everytime the opposition cross the half way line............we can call it a protest about our leadership joust between Mcabe and the prince.
#Don't get mad, get even

Got to agree with this post. We were poor all night, had the whistles and ball throwing been consistent you can almost accept it. They weren't consistent, balls thrown at Blackman and the deliberate blowing of refs whistles at key moments steps over a line making it hard to support the oppo fans.

The Lily livered FA won't do anything so we just have to move on, but dull City fans now join my list of protest wankers along with Carl Brennan and his mates from Coventry.

I have every sympathy until you cheat.
