Hugging random fellow fans

Hang on. There were not that many of us and we were split up at either end of the stand. I was at the far end from Walker's goal.

Could we have....

I was on the Piggy Kop. I took it. All by myself...

No, you'd got me for company that night although you didn't know it. Never been so happy to get piss wet through.

Hello, newish to posting but been a reader for a good while !

Random question for a Friday night

When have you gone absolutely bonkers when we've scored and hugged a complete random fellow fan (or other signs of affection !!)

Mine would have to be when pesch scored against forest , went barmy and ended up hugging and bouncing around with the guy that sat opposite me ! Never spoke before or after but at that moment it was a moment to share ! ( sorry sound like ched's defence lawyer !!!)

Were you on Kop that night, could have been me.......What a night.

Quite often in emotional matches but my best was in the 70's on the Kop used to stand near a gorgeous girl and obviously made a bee line to her so I could have a full on hug and a few sly kisses which she obviously enjoyed as well.
Later started going out together and fell in love and although we are not together now we have remained good friends ever since. Happy days !

That night was one of the bestest Bladest memories.. The sun setting to the left of where we sat, the spitting Argie, the early Katchuro goal, the injuries, the Walker goal, the thought of going to Wembley, the decent bet on a Blades win and that total overwhelming feeling of internal warmth that I've only ever had when on morphine..

As for hugs, behind me was a beautiful Blades MILF and her daughter (DILF?), tasteful, elegant, well dressed and I have no idea what she was doing there. I've never seen her again and trust me I've searched. Perhaps if I had hugged her instead of the long haired, over ripe, moustached stranger next to me, my whole life could have taken a different direction...
That match was so emotional and it demanded a few hugs with ANY fellow Blade !

You see fans of many clubs clambering all over each other when their team scores, but ours don't seem to.
I wouldn't jump on somebody or grab hold of somebody if we scored because I'm a bit wary about it.

I can remember being at Rotherham, trying to get in the Railway end, through the death trap alley
I was only a young un but two tossers, probably in their 30's at the time turned round and started throwing punches at me for "pushing them"

"Pushing them" ??????
10,000 fans pouring down that death trap and these cunts throwing punches at some random kid who they say was "pushing them"

Nah, just copied the link. Not even a wiki member, why what's changed?

Edit: last amended 24 days ago. Not me!
I just thought it was weird it was National hug day and as anyone can amend a page, thought you'd amended it for this thread

Bradford away this season a bloke jumped to hug me on the second goal completely missed and ended up on the floor 3 rows down

On the kop when we scored against the owls, he was in front of me, he turned round, tears of joy in his eyes, arms outstretched I fell into them, we hugged, yelling in ecstasy, it was over all too soon & we parted, never to see each other again.

No, just coincidence! Something about it came up on social media just after I read and commented on this thread and it was the 1st thing I thought about. :)
I did think that the OP might have started this because of the Hug day, but now we're going round in circles lol

Highbury 2004 FA Cup, i think when andy gray scored that late penalty to force a replay, I was on 1 of front few rows by 1 of posts, was just jumping up & down, hugging with the guy beside me (harder hug than I've ever given my family), as many said ive never seen him before or since wouldn't even recognise him even if I had

But how strange is it to think of the massive amount of people who have had some "special" moments to never seen them again

Had no idea is was ' hug day '!!! Bloody hate social media !

I am hoping for next mad scenes when we all go mad when Hanson scores the winner after coming off the bench to score the winner that sends us up :0)

Away at norwich 1991, Colin Hill scores a cracker... i hug and get hugged by the biggest bloke i`ve ever seen to my left, huge bugger, jumping up and down picking me up and dancing at the back of the terrace. What i can`t quite fathom is how i never noticed him stood next to me before the goal???.

and if you`re a poster to this forum, thankyou.
