HUGE praise for Wilder from the Soccer Saturday boys

It's still there, could be because it's in a private group - some one filmed a bit of Soccer Saturday with their phone and uploaded it. I'll have a dig.

F'kd around and managed to upload to a site that allows this sort of thing....

Again, not my video, this came from a Blade on Facebook - don't want to name as it was to a private group:

Brilliant! Although the likes of Merson piss me off with his arrogant and simplistic view that Palace should just've taken him. Fuck off prick.

Totally concur.

Nothing I've seen over the years changes my view that Merson et al have no more validity than 4 other piss heads you'd see down the pub.

Jeff Stelling aside, utter joke of a programme.

Don't agree personally I think Soccer Saturday is one of the greatest programmes ever made. At times its pure joy, OK sometimes the pundits can be annoying, but I love it, and will miss Jeff terribly when he retires. His relationship with Chris Kamala is pure gold.

So it takes a win against the pigs and a run to second for his efforts to be recognised.

Shows how blinkered those supposedly in the game can be to what’s actually going on.

To be fair there were plenty mentioning Wilder last season too.

We're in a slight Catch 22. The better we do the more interest there will be in our manager and players. The way to avoid that is to start sliding down the league which obviously we wouldn't want.

The club are at a crossroads or at least approaching one where we have to decide how ambitious we are to progress and meet the desires of the manager and staff to reach their maximum potential.

KM and the Prince have an interesting January ahead I think.

Not really, they can't spend what they haven't got without risking putting us back 10 years all over again.

Wilder's doing a great job but no man is bigger than the club, not even CW.

We must have some brass though we bid multi million pound bids for Coady, Leanord and Holmes which we didn’t use then of course the ones that got away on deadline day.

I just think in January retain our players.

Maybe buy 1 or 2 first team players to push us on.

Bloody hell, I expected a wind up but I think you've called it absolutely right.

We're not skint, but we're not going to be buying £9m players any time soon either.

If people demanding that the board "match Wilder's ambition" understand that, then I have no problem with their demands.

We don’t know ‘Wilders ambition ‘ as he’s not said and he certainly hasn’t said he wants millions of pounds, in fact he’s said all along he wants value for money.

What we do know is that Wilder has said all along he doesn’t want players who are only motivated by money, so presumably that is his own attitude.

Quarter of the season in and we are comfortably in the top 3, let’s just carry on a game at a time.

Why the fuck is the Premier League ALWAYS the first thing they have to bring it round to when talking about anything decent that doesn't happen to be there already?

And it was Stelling who did that first, not Merson.

Not suggesting they should but CW does have to feel backed even if only within realistic limits. My comments were not an anti-owner dig merely an observation that they will need to back a winning horse as much as they can.

And that's probably all we need. We're strong in defence and keeper, reasonable in midfield and have a few strikers. Assuming Hanson will be off in the JTW and Evans will still be struggling for fitness, then we could maybe add someone up front. CM depends on whether we call Whiteman back. If we don't, we could look to add another but it's going to be difficult for anyone to force Coutts and Fleck out of the side.

I think we have to stick mainly with what we've got this season to keep team spirit. Then, assuming we don't go up, start to look at a few upgrades.
