Huge flag on the Kop

I'd like to see a lot of flags on the Kop, like they have at Anfield or Dortmund.

But obviously the miserable old bastards on there would object.
I'm a miserable old bastard on the Kop (happy at the moment, but let that go), and would have no problem with flags on the Kop, as long as no one pokes my eye out.

Anyone remember the last game of the season ,years ago probably 90's when all the kids were using the flag as a slide, was like a taupolion swindle sheet material

I've still got me div 4 champions flag somewhere

Problem is.. we have to stand up to move the flag about... And we know how that offends.

While the ground is full.....perhaps it's time that the lane did one of those card displays like you see on the continent.

A mural of past blades heros all around the ground.....then turn the card over to read "Champions 2017" and the u tied badge.

Come on United...get it planned.

I was thinking more for the chezzy game to be fair, when it seems the trophy will be presented.

The club would carry enough clout to get this done.

Come on Kev.....couple of grand on the old Amex card....you can afford it!

A group of Newcastle fans crowdfunded £11,000 and use the money to buy huge flags and displays for the Gallowgate end, if United fans were that keen that would be the best way of doing it: http://www.gallowgateflags.co.uk/

Didn't some Derby fans do summat similar?

I would 100% support summat like that. Owt's better than flares :)

Was sp much easier when standing on the kop, all us of a certain age, standing in the same area, singing and moving huge flags about and throwing bits of paper and bog rolls. I know we have to have seating but would it not be possible to have free movement of where you sit. I mean they know how many tickets are sold for each match and how many seats there are so they don't oversell the kop but it would mean people could congregate in the same area as of old rather than specific seat. Just an idea, I'm sure you will shoot it down in flamesm

Another miserable old bastard here :(
This reminds me of the 60s when the flags would go up after scoring, a great sight. I made my own which read 'Away the Blades', you couldn't buy them then - great days, missed the flags after they got banned, about 1968.
I'd love to see the flags back today and always

Right better get the Zimmer frame ready for the off...

A proper huge one (Matron !) would be ace. Not the one from 2-3 years back, though. From the other stands, on its way down or across the kop, it looked like an oversized handkerchief.

Or we could all turn the torch function on our phones

Seriously though, with technology we should all be able to hold up our phones and a program allowing animated messages and pictures displayed using each phone screen like a pixel.

Spooky

No i always like a isle seat for my ample arse .

Let's have the flags again. And anyone who hits me with one gets a clout in the back of the head from my rattle.;)

The displays at some grounds are amazing, I would love to see the Shoreham End adorned with loads of Blades related flags. The fan groups at some of the clubs go to great lengths to get these things organised and also the clubs themselves take an active role.
I wonder is there any SUFC fan clubs that have active involvement with the club? a fan and club committee would be in the interest of everyone at United.

I know SUSA are involved at club level. Might be worth seeing if they can put it on the agenda.
