Thought a draw was about right in the end. Our midfield completely ineffective with MGW having a nightmare and Fleck offering nothing for most of the game (one excellent shot mind). Berge moments of class but lots of mediocrity along with it that is pretty standard for him unfortunately.

Massively missed Norwood/Hourihane and Ndaye. Can understand trying to get minutes into MGW, Fleck, Berge and McB but not all at once for fucks sake!

Huddersfield are a good team to watch.
They’ve built a decent squad with some good flair players.
But only 17,000 fans including 2,500 Blades??

I completely agree. Piss wet through, freezing, probably sat on the same train as many of you- Huddersfield are decent enough for it to be a good away point and we could've nicked it.

MGW wasn't quite himself yet (understandably) but I thought Fleck played well, and I thought that was one of Sander's better games for the club. In that holding role before he's looked like he was hiding- but I thought he kept making himself available and kept it ticking nicely.

McBurnie didn't stand out necessarily but he was fine- if he scored a couple and got some confidence he could be like a new signing. And Jack Robinson MOM. Fuck me, praising Berge, McBurnie and Robinson in one post, I need a lay down

Let’s not sh1t bed Huddersfield are no mugs not lost at home since November with 12 unbeaten and are higher than us currently at home. They were unlucky with the disallowed goal and penalty claim but we’ve been unlucky start of season and how that Fleck shot and goal mouth scramble didn’t go in I’ll never know. Changes to starting 11 we have a lot more games to play so will be rotating not at our best but would’ve took a point before another clean sheet and we move on to 3 home games UTB.

I didn't see one defence splitting ball from him at all. Please supply a montage of these multiple instances because I must be suffering from narcolepsy as I missed all of them.

He had a good shot and one good cross late in the second half, but he doesn't make anything happen.

He's a safety first performer. Doesn't give it away much but barely creates. His performance today was OK in a game where the very best we deserved out of it was a point, as if there was a better team, then it was Huddersfield.

He played a lot of safe balls today, agreed, but that was clearly his task to sit back and help keep possession ticking over. I noticed a fair few balls he played through, a couple directly to MGW which he couldn't control and the chance 2nd half, through ball to sharp who squared to McBurnie. Defensively he was poor, in possession and considering the role Hecky gave him he was fine. Nothing to shout about but doesn't deserve the constant slating.

But if you're from the US then you may not know the difference. A city is designated as such these days in the UK, Southend being the most recent. Huddersfield is as the suffix states a town. Once upon a time ..... it was a city if it had a cathedral, but not any more. City status in the UK is a designatory thing, nothing to do with population size.

No, it wasn't there to see at all. Pointy, who took his place when he came on and gets a lot of stick these days, was far more proactive.

Funny though because, despite seeing nothing from him today that I haven't seen before, I'd actually called him "tidy". Hardly an insult but it then prompted another poster to reply with what I consider yet another ludicous over-inflation of his worth.

As a player he's more Beige than Berge because there is nothing in his play to get overly upset about, and definitely nothing to get excited about. A player genuinely better than this level would have shown it by now.

Instead we continually hear that he's not in his right position, he's injured, recovering from injury, lonely....

I don't call that a slating, it's just bald reality. I don't blame players for their lack of brilliance, he doesn't have it in him. That's not his fault, like anyone else he can only play within his own limitations.

I'd be delighted to be proven wrong, thrilled. But waiting is becoming tiresome.

How very patronising of you, has it ever occurred to you that in fact I did spell it correctly, but the predictive text actually changed it to the American spelling, ironically I spelled patronising correctly but the phone changed it to patronizing, I expect this explanation will make absolutely no difference to you. You are right mate we can't rely on him every time to put the ball away also at 36 playing Sat and Tues every week at 36 is asking to much of him. Resting players 10 years younger than him and then asking him to play every match is a tall order.
