Turner did well ,one great save in the first half ,was it from Porter ?
Dropped a massive bollock near the end though ,great blocks from Basham and McCeverley saved him.

Turner also made a very good stop at his near post after a minute or so, not bad at all considering he can't have had much warm up!

Clough made a point on that, saying what a true professional he is, that he always warms up as though he is starting the game! Great for Long and Willis to learn from.

To be fair both goalkeepers go through good warm up prior to the match, with the reserve actually taking the "shoot in" after the first choice has wandered off.

That was a great save. Quick down to his right to get a firm hand on a hard shot that was a long way away from him.

The shot came from a striker who held the ball up well, muscled into a good shooting position and fired in a great shot that on most occcasions would have gone in.
Can't have been Porter
