Okay, its the last game of the season, we need to win to guarantee finishing 2nd place, and getting promotion, Pigs need to win to stay up... however they lose, and so do we, its Play Offs for us........ if we then went on and lost the Play Off final, would you be as disappointed as you would've been if the pigs stayed up?

Must admit, i would love it if we go up and the pigs come down, karma, its a bitch.

I really have very little interest in what Wednesday do. I have no real mates who are Wednesday fans and avoid talking about football when I meet people of that ilk. I find the whole 'banter' thing tedious. I hope we go up and don't care one way or the other what happens to Wednesday

Part of me wants a Derby next season, i love those days. I would prefer the derby to be in the Championship, but i won't be overly disappointed if its in league one either.

I'm with this man.

Can't believe the thread was even started (Sorry OP).

I think the responses so far have summed it up.

Blades to go up is ALL that matters

Don't hold with this "it doesn't matter what the pigs do" view at all. However, it is more important that we go up than they come down.

There are four possible outcomes as I see it and in order of preference they would be:

Us promoted, Pigs relegated.
Us promoted, Pigs survive.
We stay down, Pigs relegated.
We stay down, pigs stay up.

And we all know which one it will be......

It was a total travesty that those lucky shiteating shiteaters went up at our expense last season. Their luck in achieving promotion was absolutely ridiculous. The sooner we switch places the better.

can't stand derby games...stressful,tense and trips to the Sty make my skin crawl. The only good bit is sometimes we win

We just need to et promoted. Nothing else matters as far as SUFC are concerned

play off , Im not a fan of but if we have to have them cant see why theres extra time and penalties, just let it be 90 minutes and if its level should go on final league placing , as it should be, semi finals same 1 game highest placed club at home

Us going up, them going down would be brilliant

Well clearly that would be the fairest way to do it, but one leg wouldn't generate as much money.......not that I'm suggesting that is the main motivation behind them or anything like that.

Well promotion is clearly our priority as stated by many. However, i must say i HATE derby day, it is the only game of the season I go into hoping we 'don't lose' rather than win. I HATE them I HATE them. No mroe derbies for me! By the way, I'm 21, been to hillsboro three times and haven't even seen us score a goal. I shalln't be visiting that place again in a hurry.... F*cking Wensday

who?

i couldnt give a bag of fannies about that lot.
it was great when they were stuck in 1 or 2 divisions below us for a decade.
i hate derby games. id much rather we never play them again.
in fact, id much rather they didnt even exist.

this is some of the good stuff!

You never did get an invite to Thirsky's minge parties did you?

I think it should be a straight one off game. 3rd place in L1 vs. 3rd bottom in Champ at a neutral venue

I would like to be grown up and agree with you.

However I really can't stand the odious bleeding scummy piggy tw#ts.

At the moment though I really really don't care what they are doing or where they finish.
It's all about us as we really need to find a little bit of promotion form and get back up a division.
I can sense playoffs tbh but we must go up this time!!

Derby games are vile things,tense,nail-biting head-ache giving and mostly un-enjoyable affairs, where of late we never finish on the right side of.
If we never, ever played those swines again it wouldnt bother me in the slightest.

All irrelevant to me I'm afraid. After being a season ticket holder for the majority of the last 32 years, I'm not renewing next year regardless of what league/division (or whatever the twats who have ruined the game choose to call it) we're playing in.
