With nobody wanting the management job. The chairman unwilling to put any more money and its been reported the playing budget will be getting slashed to £2m a season.

I'm really beginning to think that next season is already shaping up to be another huge low point. Absolutely pot less, a squad who are all mainly contracted to another season after seeing out last season with form that would be worthy of relegation if we wasn't at the top of the table at Christmas.

I can honestly see next season being a relegation season, and then at least a couple of seasons bumping around the bottom tier if not any worse. How can anyone else see anything better on the cards for this club

I've worked it out that I've been to over 800 United games, visited almost 100 different grounds over the years and the worst thing is that I fucking cared about this club, and still care enough to be very concerned about which way this is all heading.

Funny you should post this brownie was thinking along similar lines earlier this week. Always thought we'd never dip as low as the fourth again (top season btw) but Portsmouth sprung to mind this week, then it struck me the way things are shaping up we're not a million miles off where they are/were as a club.

Unless we get lucky with the next managerial appointment, then it's only going to get worse until someone buys McCabe out.

its this kind of unbridled optimism that will save us
its like being with the cast of dads army

were all doomed I TELL YE
