On April 27th after the preston game, how many points will we have and where will we be in the table?
Tranmere up?
Donny up?
Us in the play offs again?
Any predictions?
Where will we be at the end of the season?

hopefully we'll be up as champions, i dont care about the rest!

swindon worry me and theres a few others doing well like bournemouth, we'll see.

i worry the playoffs are calling again

Hi, John. This thread is an attempt to make sense of our season.

Tranmere up? No chance. Still benefiting from an exceptional start but with injuries, loanees going back and stern reality crowding in, expect a slide to mid-table 'respectability'.

Donny up? Hard to call. Dean Saunders may be gone at any time and that could derail them.

Predictions? That people will realise these bright, young latin managers (Poyet, Zola, di Matteo and di Canio) are the way forward, not 'good, solid ex-pros'.

Where will we be at the end of the season? Well, I'll probably be on the 10.12 train to St. Pancras on 19 May. smileys-wink-619022.gif

Swindon will go up automatic. We could very well join them, but Donny are in with a good shout. I expect Tranmere to fall away and do not think Bournemouth and Brentford will sustain their pushes. MK Dons also not quite good enough and will end up with a play off place.

The team we put out yesterday is definately (one of) the strongest in the divsion and I think if we keep everyone fit then we have a very good chance. I can see is getting an average of 2 points a game and ending up with a mid 80's level of points. Whether it is enough I simply do not know. It will obviously depend on the others. I think we need results against the top teams though and need to go to Tranmere and Bournemouth and get results and beat Swindon, Brentford and MK Dons at home.

I would not like to have to face Bournemouth or Coventry in the play-offs, but then I think they will say the same about us.

I am still quietly confident we will make it to the top two. No more slip-ups mind you.
