Pardew at Charlton when we beat them 5-2 at their place.

As the OP said ;)

More interesting how many teams have finished our managers off ?

Mid-season sackings for United:
David Weir (after United 0-1 Hartlepool in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy; last league game United 1-1 Crawley)
Danny Wilson (after United 0-2 Crawley)
Kevin Blackwell (after United 0-3 QPR)
Bryan Robson (after West Brom 0-0 United)
Adrian Heath (after United 1-3 Port Vale)
Dave Bassett (after United 0-2 Huddersfield)

Anyone before Bassett is well before my time.

McEwan went after we were battered at home by Oldham (0-5)

Can we claim a victory on pochattino ?
Its 10 days since we played them .My guess is something else behind the scenes as contributed.

I think we can. It will have taken best part of a week or so just to get the Mourinho deal negotiated and sorted.

I’ve got the feeling we did for Carlos the dreamer, he was walking dead since bouncing day, and the team confirmed we destroyed the whole season..

Marvellous !

Wasn't Yorath in 85/86, the season they went up after the Valley Parade fire?
Got sack not long after we beat Bradford 4-1 in March 1990.

Trevor Cherry was the manager when they went up in 1985. Terry Dolan was after him

Let's be honest..

Carlos Carvalhal

Sure, you can say he was in charge for couple more months, but, after bouncing day he was a broken man, a mere husk of what once was..
Was going to say this myself, crushed him.

We didnt deliver the killer blow however we sent him crashing down to the kanvas

surely this would just be the amount of managers we have had? would be surprised if there is a club who has finished off more than one of our managers? would imagine wednesday could be that club?
I’d argue that most of this managers finished themselves off. They were mostly end of season jobs rather than a certain game being the last straw
