How long has he got left?

Listen.. Please keep calm.. We are highly likely to be relegated, but if we get rid of Wilder. We face a dark time just like when we sacked warnock..

Keep the faith we've fucking murdered them but haven't scored.. Do you really think its down to the manager.. Because I don't..

Heretic!

I understand why some are calling for Chris wilder to go.

I totally disagree with that view.

For one, he’s done the miraculous in taking us from league 1 to the brink of Europe.

Secondly we had enough chances to win 3 game today - if we win tonight I don’t think people would be so keen for him to be sacked

Third and finally, we might get relegated with Chris, but who will keep us up now? And if we do end up in the championship who would you want to fight for another promotion?

Wilder.

Anyway, I do understand the wilder out view, but I disagree.

Can see him walking

I wouldn't walk either... We score our chances it's a different game, we don't have the rub of the green..

We just fucking don't.. Don't kick the golden goose out the fucking door cause oli mcburnie will not score..

Unfortunately, after this loss, I just can’t see any way the situation is going to improve under Wilder.

We need a fresh start if we’ve got any chance of salvaging anything from this season.

I understand the sentiment. I really do. However, you can’t just say “stick with him” put your fingers in your ears and pretend he isn’t, himself putting in League One performances too. I need to see that he is learning and adapting. He isn’t, he’s being stubborn, he’s bought incredibly poorly, we have a disjointed squad, no plan B, hoof it 90% of the time, and he makes the most baffling substitutions I think I’ve ever seen. I’m all for going with the man to try and go for promotion next year, but I have to ask what the point of it would be, if Wilder puts in this level of performance again.
You say hes bought poorly
Name me the strikers, midfield players and defenders he should have bought with the budget and wage structure we have

Possibly, but don't forget the power of negative momentum, when clubs get in a rut there is no stopping them. We have been there,Wednesday,Aston Villa ,Sunderland,Norwich etc etc
Need to find a new Wilder, the old one is broken

No he isn't, we've been on the edge of the seat every time we went forward..

Maybe I'm a bit more passionate than others..

This was a great game to watch.. Didn't go our way.. Fuck it though.. We go down then so what.. Its the players who relegate us when we've got a set up that attacks like that...

What should we do ? Who should we appoint as manager ?
What players should this new manager sign in the JTW

Stick with Chris and Alan 100% ... remember league one football!
With the current form I can see league one football being back at the lane no matter who is in charge. Recruitment and Tactical Versatility NEED to be overhauled. And hopefully Wilder and Co understand this.

My opinion is that he has 2 games but thats just mine, in my honest opinion an my head id love to keep him. The thing is he is not on the pitch hes not the one shooting/missing chances, 22 shots on goal today not one goal not one the players need to take a massive look at themselves today thank Chris for whats hes done for them stand up and start to repay him NOW BIGTIME

Thats your knowledge of the game rite there. Have a decent response instead of just shit simple responses. I've not said sack him ive asked peoples opinions and alot of blades need to realise that instead of being so fucking rose tinted it is untrue
We’ve had enough chances to bury that game people like you just come focusing on the negatives

Wilder needs to drop McBurnie or it WILL cost him his job. It's no bother Chris. You can't get them all right. We all thought he was a good buy but he's terrible. We all thought Adkins was a great appointment. Sometimes it doesn't work out. Substituting Burke today was nonsensical and not for the first time.
The solution to this is quite simple. We can only play the five at the back with Jack o Connell at full fitness. Nobody else can play that position, he is a natural at it. Until he is fit we should go 4 3 3 in the meantime with Burke, Moose and Rhian the front 3 (pace). And ffs get rid of Norwood and Lundstram and play Sander central. i love Baldock but the guy can't shoot. Freeman would be top scorer by now, but he couldn't defend for shit. ho hum. Easy this manager lark
In summation too many square pegs in round holes.
Wilder won't resign, not unless he bought his new gaff cash. Nor should he. Who would we get in? i hear that Wilder is pretty good??

It’s getting to the point where no decent manager would touch us with a bargepole.

At the end of the day, we can argue amongst ourselves about whether he should go or not, personally I am in the 'not' camp, but it's what the Prince thinks that really matters.

Does he stick by the man that got us to the PL in the first place? Or is the prospect of relegation the deal breaker, regardless of what came before? Then of course, who would come in and turn it around anyway? When your strikers are constantly missing chances like this, how do you break out of it?

It’s not just who he’s bought, although there is definitely a debate there. It’s the positions he’s bought. Where’s Bogle? Why spend a chunk change in a tight budget on squad wingbacks? We have no athleticism or creativity in midfield. Buendia would have been in price and wage structure. We knew JOC was injured during lockdown and haven’t replaced him. The recruitment has been poor that surely isn’t up for debate??

League one?????

League one?????
I could be barmy but If we go down and play the same brand of footy that this year has seen us play I would not be surprised to see us plummet well and proper. Hopefully our recruitment over next the 2 windows is fucking ace so we can avoid the worst case.

I've got 2 door cinema club on now.. Real loud..

Fuck it.. Blades are blades..

10 more years for chrissy wilder.

Pigs need not comment.

So why get rid of Wilder then ?
You make a post saying we need a fresh start I presume you mean sack Wilder
You then say no decent manager would want the job
So whats your solution ?

We’ve got to have a change in manager, I just can’t see how things can turn around under Wilder. It’s 1 point from 30, Wilder’s morale and confidence must be at rock bottom, how the hell can he lift the players?
