How long do you sulk after a defeat?

Did anyone else feel like that 2-2 was as bad as the Newcastle 0-8 ?? I'm sure a psychiatrist would really make something of it ??

Depends on the context and to whom we've lost to. Sometimes by the time I get home. Sometimes days.

The 0-8 Newcastle game for example. Left early with my lad and went back to the pub. Not mardy at all. Just laughing about it all.

I stayed til the end of that one. If only to give my nephew the change to potentially witness history if it got to 0-10.

I mean what superb team could actually win 10-0 away from home in a league game and have the record stand for over 100 years. Imagine if I supported them…

It used to last all weekend for me, I'd not even watch any other football if we lost, but nowadays I'm more pragmatic. I'm of the view that they've already kicked the in the nuts once so there's no point in letting it completely spoil the day for me or anybody else. Obviously the Pork and the Dirties games are the exceptions, but what worried me so much about last season is that 2/3rds through I just stopped hurting, and the morning after sick to the pits feeling had gone. It's never happened before even in Adkins's reign, but good to say I'm back and firing on all again... for now.

Yep normally the weekend with a media blackout. The pigs salvaged it for me yesterday so I’m okay now - still scratching my head a bit though thinking about it

Depends on the defeat, the importance of it, the manner of it,
I actually laughed at most Premier League goals we conceded last year, mainly because it didn't matter a toss.

I watched every minute of every home game, even Lincoln. Never left early, never arrived late, never went for a pint at half time.

By the end of last season I impervious to defeat. Made Rudyard Kipling look like a complete fanny.
