I’ve just pissed myself laughing. I’m sure Cardiff fans are fantasing about the days of playing passing football in the championship and forcing themselves into a play off spot. The premier league is where it’s at for players & managers. If NW keeps them up, he’ll leave and get a massive pay off and with the exception of 10 managers globally, they’ll recruit whoever they want. The new manager will then spend £50m on players. That’s the reality of modern football. We don’t go up this year, CW will be employed elsewhere. Enjoy it while it lasts.

and interestingly, Warnock took the Blades job age 51 so Wilder has a slight head start in terms of League position although well behind on the promotion stakes.

Or watch a team going for promotion playing entertaining skilful open attacking football in the Championship.

Personally after the novelty had worn off I’d stop going in the PL if there was little entertainment.

Although of course the entertainment was high for odd matches under Warnock and Bassett but there were also shocking low quality performances.
