How Far have we come

Been watching Cardiff v Wolves Prem football (well) and can't stop thinking wouldn't have Warnok back over Wilder in a million years.
The stanard of football we are being served at the moment is the best I have seen in years.
Thanks Chris.

Yet Warnock is managing in the Premier League and Wilder has never been anywhere near it.

To be fair, the BBC website said the standard of football at Solihull Moors tonight was equal to that at Cardiff City.

I’ve just pissed myself laughing. I’m sure Cardiff fans are fantasing about the days of playing passing football in the championship and forcing themselves into a play off spot. The premier league is where it’s at for players & managers. If NW keeps them up, he’ll leave and get a massive pay off and with the exception of 10 managers globally, they’ll recruit whoever they want. The new manager will then spend £50m on players. That’s the reality of modern football. We don’t go up this year, CW will be employed elsewhere. Enjoy it while it lasts. :D

Cardiff deserved to win on the second half, but it was painful to watch really.

I still think they will go down though.

Warnock was 57 when he first managed in the PL and Wilder is still only 51
and interestingly, Warnock took the Blades job age 51 so Wilder has a slight head start in terms of League position although well behind on the promotion stakes.

I once hit the curtains from about three yards.

A Frenchman, an Italian and an Englishman are in a pub...
And the Frenchman says, "I made my wife orgasm so hard last night, she floated a foot off the bed."

The Italian, not to be outdone, replies, "I made MY wife orgasm so hard last night, she floated TWO foot off the bed."

The Englishman chimes in with "I had sex with my wife last night and I orgasmed in 30 seconds."

The Frenchman and the Italian exchange confused looks.

"Afterwards I got out of bed and wiped my dick on the curtains. She hit the fucking roof!"

When was the last time we had 8 internationals away on duty (plus Norwood twiddling his thumbs on a ban) ?

Pretty much tells you just how far exactly.

It’s the old arguement.

Would you prefer to watch a struggling team playing crap football with little entertainment in the PL
Or watch a team going for promotion playing entertaining skilful open attacking football in the Championship.

Personally after the novelty had worn off I’d stop going in the PL if there was little entertainment.

I’ve said many times I’m generally enjoying watching United now more than at any time under Warnock or Bassett.
Although of course the entertainment was high for odd matches under Warnock and Bassett but there were also shocking low quality performances.

I think the entertainment and drama under Warnock in particular far exceeded what Wilder has done so far.

When we bother to take cup competitions seriously under CW and beat a big team in it then he might start to match NW. So far he can hardly get us to win on tv!
