but over the last 2 generations , 20 years apiece we have to be realistic of our stature
we suffer from only having mccabes money to rely on , now its all about the stuff

our highlights of my lifetime have been going up to the top league

so in my 55 years of watching us only had 16 seasons in the top flight , 4 of those turned out to be relegation years another 7 we finished in the bottom 8
so in 55 years weve made an impression in the middle bit of the top league 5 times, best being 74 before the big slump

theyve all won far more recently

we will always get more fans than most town clubs
Burnley is a tenth of the size of Sheffield

Ive always thought that the last home game of the season would be a nice way to do it, let's say we don't make the play offs and deserve some sort of response to show our disappointment, remember it will be a nothing game, amounting to nothing....

The ONLY way to affect REAL change is to stop going as these aren't football men, they're business men and it's only when you hit them in their pocket will they sit up and pay attention.

We have some of the most loyal fans in the country but if we continue to get the gates we're getting, there'll be no January signings coming in and we'll have to get use to the garbage that's being served up.

I used to see some 20 first team + reserves games despite a 300 mile round trip.
I haven't been this season - no (cheap) night matches.

I drove up to Sheffield to watch the pre-season friendly against Chesterfield a few years ago.
They sold the 2 Kyles that day so I didn't go to the game!
And I've been rarely since.

McCabe is the cancer that is destroying the club, and with no ground now there is little if no hope of remission
Which is stupid for him, as if he'd been half way successful he could have kept creaming millions out via China, Hong Kong, bloated interest etc and nobody would have really minded.
