How do we protest against the current regime?

The real problem is that Adkins has yet to find the solution of team and tactics. Let us not forget that we were struggling badly under Clough (lose 3-0 Crewe) before we played Fulham. Doyle got sent off, Baxter was put upfront and Scougall came on at half time and our formation changed overnight. Clough got lucky and managers need that.

I don't believe we are far away and could do with some extra quality and pace in wide areas and upfront some someone who can do a bit of everything in midfield like Morsy.

I didn't see anyone not give 100%. The effort is the but the quality and sometime tactics are sometime lacking (eg why not switch JCR to the right wing when Woolford came on ?)

I agree that they are putting the effort in. I think that's Adkins biggest achievement. He has got a side out of there that are fighting for each other which is not something we could say a few months back . As you say the major problem is quality throughout the team.

Why am I protesting?

Against the board? For providing one of the biggest budget in League One? I'm sure there are loads of billionaires queuing up to buy a failing League One club.

Manager? Shall we get rid of Adkins after half a season and replace him with someone with a better League One record? Who would that be exactly? Gotta give the bloke a chance if you ask me.

Players? Now this is the real problem! Unfortunately we can't protest to make them better players or to get rid of them! So stuck with the dross until the summer.
They could queue all they liked, we aren't for sale we are just a slowburning sell off of land to K Mc

Also Danny,

You have to be realistic. If this board was as bad as you make out I'd refuse to go.
In fact our gates would be down to 14,000.

The reason why we've averaged 20,000 the last two seasons is because we've shown genuine ambition.
Any club that shows ambition eventually gets a result.

Last season we did an amazing thing for league 1 club.
We went out and spent 1.25 million on The Beard. A player that loves our club and took a pay cut.
He was our inspiration, talisman and leader.

This season we did another amazing thing.
The board paid out massive sums of money to pay off Clough and his crew and bring in the BEST manager at league 1 level. And we brought in a proven striker Billy Sharp again on big wages.

We are the bookies favourites every year for a reason. It's because on paper we've strengthened and have the best squad.

This season we have a massive squad. Whilst ever we keep trying and paying our big money for loans and signings then they'll get my support no matter what.

It's they treat fans with disrespect (like Blackpool and Dave Allen at SW), downsize, put match day admission up to £30, sell all the best players and don't spend it then instead of protesting I'll simply stop going but at the moment I feel obliged to support the investment.

We've spent well in the last few JTW's. Remember we paid big money for Matt Done last year, Rochdales best player.

So I'll wait to see what happens this January and in the Summer.
If there virtually no expenditure then I'll pick and choose the odd match next season
But so far I'm at almost every home game.
"Rochdale's best player" this is how low we have sunk.

All the club can do is keep this run going and try to get to the playoffs.

I'm quite relaxed because if we fail we are only 15 weeks away from telling 15 to 20 of the players to piss off if they can't hack it.

Then at long last, we can start a proper rebuild. With the wages that will be freed up surely we can build a young, competitive squad for this division.
But are you not concerned we'll fuck that up also? Like everything else we've done since 2006

You have to be bothered for a start.
The only protest worthwhile is to not turn up.
This makes things even worse short term but eventually leads to a change

But all this could back-fire on us, yes, it could lead to a change, but not at board level and above.
Poor performances, lower attendances could mean they get rid of the manager again. Who, by most supporters on here, is as good as we are going to get in this league, when it is in fact the shit that he inherited that is holding us back. And in part down to Adkins tactics and substitutions. But do we really want to go through the building process with yet another manager. Let him have his summer clear out, see who he brings in, then let's see how good we think he is, X amount of games into the 2016/17 campaign.

Without the cringey shoes off business?

Is the only way to do it to not get a season ticket next year? This dual ownership is even worse than having just McCabe because at least then we knew who was accountable, now we haven't got a clue...

We're happy with a point at Blackpool in league one. If not now when do we start letting the board know in no uncertain terms this isn't good enough?

They're full of excuses, full of promises, but not much that comes to fruition.

If you're willing to spend you find a way to do it. If you aren't you find excuses. It's a shame that our position is so easy to categorise.

I've never been more fed up, we aren't going anywhere and the clueless cunts on the board aren't in a rush to sort that out. I'm not even asking for them to pump millions in, just actually get someone on the board who knows football and can change our approach. We are the most unprofessional side in the whole football league. Its embarrassing.

Be careful what you wish for. The Prince can walk away tomorrow.

Wednesdayites on here can have a field day way beyond their wildest dreams getting together with the most vociferous and immature Blades. Watch out everybody.

Probably should be better supervised then.

I'm not about to start watching my p's and q's around you or anybody else. And I'm not going to pander to the easily offended either.
In short, get over yourself.

Thank you for making my morning - Stephen Fry on being offended.

It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what."

Quick, car park before we sell it to China

Did my sign last night, see you all in the carpark

Ive always thought that the last home game of the season would be a nice way to do it, let's say we don't make the play offs and deserve some sort of response to show our disappointment, remember it will be a nothing game, amounting to nothing....

Let's all sing the gcb, wait for the whistle and walk straight out and go to the pub instead....

That would definitely get the message across, and a couple of extra hours in the pubs full of blades would really bring football to the community..

That would be one of the best and probably one of the only realistic things we could carry out.

He can take his quid with him now for me

I'd go one better than that and say that if we fail to make the playoffs that United play to an empty stadium save for the away fans for their last home game. It isn't a vocal, 'active' protest such as 'Sack the Board' chantings at an empty set of offices up on the South Stand, moreso 'passive' and designed to generate poor publicity for the club as a whole (because the sight of rows and rows of empty seats would actually be commented on in highlights and possibly make the national news) Sure, the staff may be 'fuck 'em' but it will need explaining to the press and no doubt we could generate a fan's spokesperson to offer comment.

Think it's time the supporters put their collective foot down mesen, but, y'know, I live 224 miles away from BDTBL ...

Would never happen, they've had the same thoughts at Blackpool (albeit under worse circumstances as debated elsewhere) but there's a hardcore fanbase that will go regardless. In Blackpool's case it's around 1500, in our case, it would probably be around the 8000 from that infamous Port Vale match.

The Blades Big Sky Bill got up and running soon enough. I'm sure we can manage an effective walk out on the last home game of the season. I'd actually buy a ticket just to be a part of it.

Best of it, Sam Morsy at 200k is fuck all in the grand scheme of things when you take into account the cup money we've just got alone. We wouldn't lose a penny on him either, it's not fucking rocket Science, 200 bastard k, ffs.
I hope we sign Morsy but it's not 200k, it never was 200k, and no one has ever said it is 200k.
