Does anyone have any idea what date the home leg play off tickets go on sale.
To me they could do it now as the date is known, and tickets could show Opponents TBA. Then people who want to keep there normal seat can book them. Or are we going to have the stupid situation that we had against Forest, and tickets go on sale one morning and everyone rushes to get in and some regulars get beaten to there seats

There’s fare and there’s easy

Fare wold be:

If the club has to close areas of the ground (SAG/SYP) that contains season tickets holders.

  • Allow ST holders in open areas to claim their seat
  • Allow displaced ST holders to purchase empty seats
  • General sale
Easy would be:

Tickets on sale 9am Monday first come first served

The club will pick easy 🤷‍♂️.

Should’ve been pre planned with ticket details out Tuesday and on sale Thursday/Friday at £20 a go. If they plan on releasing tickets after the Blackburn game once we know our opponents no chance we sell out.

Hopefully the new owners will upgrade the ticketing system in the near future as the current one isn’t up to scratch. I dread to think what they have planned if we get to Wembley again after the Man City debacle.

Been told today they will go on sale at 9am on Monday 5 May, one per person from ticket office, no online sales.

Go Outdoors offering special deals on tents until then and the Railway has been granted a late licence into the early hours after the Basham charity game. Only allowed to sell Carling after 10pm though.

Ticket allocation for the away leg will be limited to 500 after ALL ex-players have received theirs to distribute amongst people they barely know.

Loyalty points not valid on Wilder's request due to those obtaining Oxford tickets for a smallish allocation being Gene Hunts.

Confirmed by George McCabe.

Apparently they won’t be selling tickets until they know who we are playing. This was the message when Mrs Jansky renewed our STs earlier this week.
I don’t really understand why. Just seems to be making life harder for ourselves.

Think they have to agree the ticket prices with the opponents?

Maybe the club needs to know who we are playing so that teams name can be printed on the tickets....what could they put instead of the away teams name...?

Suggestions..i would put (sixth placed)...with a little addendum.........shit on the bastards below.

Just put play-off semi final on it. Not that much of an issue. Besides, how many tickets are being printed now? It’s all (or nearly) electronic.

Can we offer discounted tickets before knowing the opponent? Is it like the FA Cup where lowered prices have to be agreed by both clubs?

You had me; totally frothing at the first line 🤣 😍

If they make it £20 a ticket its a sell out and the away team will be more than happy.
It's makes so much sense to start selling them now and allow season ticket holders chance to claim their seats and avoid the scramble for tickets
Give the way team BL lower so no one has to move.
Why is it so difficult for the club to make sensible decisions

Exactly
The club could do this, but they won't because they're fucking retarded.

Let's have a look at a recent play off second leg at the Swill.
They lost the first leg 4-0 but because the tickets for the second leg had been sold nice and early they got a full house. People had already paid for the tickets and they thought "Oh well might as well go"

Our second leg tickets won't even go on sale until after the first leg has been played, and if we've bombed out in the first leg hardly anyone will turn up. The way our ticket office works makes me wonder what sort of sabotage is going on in that place.

Because they make an extra quarter of a million quid if they just charge normal cat B prices?

Hurrah for Wednesday

I am sure there's boring technical reasons for how and when we can put tickets on sale.

It's not like the game or date is a surprise to anyone so if they don't get a ticket when they do go on sale they weren't going anyway 🤷‍♂️

There'll be slightly more time to the home leg this time, as we play the home leg second. Hopefully more time for season ticket holders to secure their seats

I don't care what they charge.

I'm making a stand and refusing to go as they've completely fucked up the end of the season, and I've had to pay £13.50 to keep my plastic card for next season. (Bizarrely there's a £15.00 charge but no booking fee for a plastic card, but there is a £1.50 booking fee for phone access. How's that worked out 🤷‍♂️)

If however we make it to Wembley I may have a change of heart as I will be back from my end of season holiday in Greece by then.
