I think you misunderstood my comment. What I was inferring was that we would now be in the market for better quality, younger players from possibly the Championship, in addition to the players we might sign lower down.

Holmes is a good player and I like him, but he's hardly the future at his age, whereas the league position we are now in we could sign younger versions who maybe weren't interested in joining before our current run.

No chance. He was on our list because he was value for money as he only had a year left on his contract. Since then, he's signed another lucrative one so he won't be VFM anymore. Just some bloke with a man bun who likes living in London and plays quite well for a L1 team. Fuck him and his haircut. He showed his intent when he signed another contract with Charlton.
