Not played at all well recently but got the results and top of the form league over last 6 games.

Couldn't see us scoring tonight at all, just as poor as the first half vs Cardiff.

Good job we have the quality McAtee.

Points are all that matters at this stage.

To win 6/7 (and 5/6 in the league) since the defeat against Luton really is outstanding.

We’ve had to do that without the first team keeper for nearly 3 of those matches. And without any RCB for one of them, and a right back playing at left back for another also.

We are earning this promotion if we get over the line.

The team has stood up & showed a lot of character and a big part of that is on the management team.

Got to admit I was very very down after the run culminating in the luton game. Felt like everything was falling apart.

Same old United!

It’s easy to forget the experience and bottle a lot of this side have shown and what they have achieved together in ACTUALLY getting things over the line . Hopefully they have another one in them!

Thought Hecky handled the adversity as well as he could have done also, kept an even keel in the press.

But harsh to say not played well at all recently. We ain't been dominating games but this stage of the season you don't often.

Last time we went up we won alot by getting a goal and shutting out.

Norwich we shaded the game just grabbed a goal.

Wigan could or should have been 3-0 up at half time and game over.

Burnley non event because of sending off. No complaints. But thought we started bright.

Cardiff despite giving them encouragement mainly in 1st half we still deserved the points. And looked capable of stepping up.

Tonight we were 2nd best first half yet not exactly been peppered with shots at our goal.
2nd half much better and eventually that bit of cutting edge in terms of creating an opportunity from an opportune moment wins it.

Boro have been playing "amazingly well" of late, yet are dropping more points than us...

Some could say sign of a decent manager.

Good sides keep coming back from behind to win and win games against teams who come to contain
We are excellent at that
And we will probably end the season with us keeping clean sheets in half of our 46 games
Couldn't agree more.

The press love Big names ..ex man u player going to get plenty of arse licking compliments But we this season have not been as bad as boro were at Huddersfield and West brom.
We control games . Not as excitingly maybe but we stay in games and collect more points which in the end, points mean prizes

We’ve been better than the opposition in the majority of matches this season, that’s generally means you’ll win more matches than you lose.

You don’t need to absolutely destroy the opposition for it to be classed as a good performance.

It's part of why I get frustrated by all the talk of us being a poor side from other fans. We've been getting results not just this season but consistently since Hecky took over, and we've gone through most of that without anything like a settled team. Even against Cardiff it was yet another back five, and a change of keeper, and they still came up with the goods. Yeah, we're a bit disjointed sometimes but we've been sitting up in the promotion spot for a long time and nobody's even seen us at our best. Not sure if we've even had a run of games with our best eleven. McBurnie and Sharp have missed chunks of it, RND went out when he was hitting real form, Baldock in and out, Bogle with injuries, Doyle's had issues, the list goes on. All players who'd be getting games at any Championship club this season, and we've had to grind it out while missing them.

Think that's an important fact to realise and appreciate.

I'd say in many matches the opposition have tended to win midfield and quite often the opposition look better than us around the centre circle area.
However the XG records shows that we might not look good but we create more and better chances than the opposition almost every match.

Also there's been games where our defence has been under pressure with the opposition having so many attacks
but in those games quite often our keeper, hardly has a singe save to make, so we're doing something right.
