Now 91 points and this Saturday's match will be the 47th and the last of the year. Beating Bolton will mean we have the highest number of league points in a calendar year beating the record we had in 1989 which was 93 points in 50 games

Haha - had a massive argument with my father in law on this this lunchtime (with my brother in law firmly on my side) about the utter meaningless of “calendar year” stats. Surely only seasons count!

Tell him to watch the BBC news on what record did Harry Kane break today!

What did that 1989 side go on to do?

Is it me? But what is all this nonsense of calendar years, since when does it matter one jot? Football works in seasons, success or failures are what you do over a full season. nothing else really matters.

It's just nice to look back at the year,1st half we were brilliant and had some wonderful memories,2nd half we were brilliant and have more wonderful memories to look back on,put them together and it's been a rather good year following Sheffield United, despite what some of our fans might say
