Higdon

Higdon. That is not a football player. Just put a house brick in the D. It would jump higher and move better, and carry less fat.

I suppose that is a better option than putting the D in a house brick. Ouch.

Never thought I'd get the opportunity to post this again...

Higdon is starting become my new Jordon Stewart. I would love to see him shipped out before the window closes as he offers us so little. Free his wage up for Nigel to bring in a footballer!

I don't normally slate individual players I try to support, but I see so little from Higgo in terms of attitude, application, desire and not least ability. He doesn't have a long term future at the Lane, so a move would be good for both parties.

Thanks for pointing that out.

I have heard he is going out on loan to the NHBC league

Joking apart he's a Blade and we should be supporting him  (no ACRO prop jokes)

I agree that any player on the books , we have to support them . Goes without saying .

Again on all players coming in and out , we have to go with Adkins judgement. None of us really know who shines and who doesn't in training . Higdon is becoming a bit of a enigma. Is it him or is it the lack of service , or a bit of both.

The bloke can make his presence known on the pitch and can score goals . Thing is , he doesn't do it on a regular basis , when given the chance. He has gone down the pecking order , and with the signing of Sharp and Sammon , it does tell us , what we already knew , we weren't a goal threat , to secure promotion.

If he stops , he will be a impact player from the bench ( or for injuries / suspensions ) . If not , i can see him going on a free.

Adkins has a hard job , building a side , balancing the books , and reducing the squad . We also have Done coming back from injury , which reduces Higdon chances even more.

Is he in a comfort zone , or are we being unfair to the bloke . I suppose we can only go on , what we see.

Unfortunately his shortcomings can only be measured against Sammon, he gets same service playing in a similar position. Sammon controls incoming balls really well, holds it up, plays other players in and scores.

When he plays he looks like he’s running through wet cement.

Although there is merit to having one forward who is a brick shit house.

He seems to have struggled to put any foundations down to settle at this club.

Not against Fulham he didn't, which is what it seems he's being judged on.

Utter bollox. Higdon has had ample time to prove his worth. He has consistently fallen (way) short of the required standard. And bear in mind this is L1 standard, not ECL !

Let it go fellas.
