Just received my copy today, for my Dad's birthday. I'll let him have the first proper read but on first impressions, I just wanted to say well done Danny04 on a really stellar piece of work.

Have you tried giving Jesus a ring? He might be tempted to take it off you as a Christmas gift for one of his disciple pals. Though it must be odd buying Christmas gifts for other people when it's your birthday as well.
 
Mine arrived just as we were leaving for the airport this morning. Perfect timing for a long weekend lying on the beach in Florida. Cheers Danny.

Don't do it mate. It's not worth it. Thunderstorms and torrential rain all afternoon and red tide affecting the beaches on the west. :D:p

Yeah the forecast looks bad! We'll be away from the algae at least.
 
Mine has arrived, thanks Danny. Finishing off the latest Inspector Banks before I make a start on it, trying to keep it out of the daughter's hands until then!

Good to see that you got a quote from Daniel Taylor in the front. One of my favourite current sports writers.

That was incredible for me. Many parts of this have been a bit surreal but when he agreed to read it and said he enjoyed it, that was right up there. He’s an unbelievable writer and a great bloke too

Might start mine in my sunny back garden in the next half hour....with a few cans of beer to wet the whistle.

Got mine today, planning on reading it ever dinner time at work in an office full of Villa fans. Impeccable timing!
