Henderson

Every keeper makes mistakes. But Hendo has got the self confidence and inner strength to shrug off such howlers. If he can also learn from those mistakes he’ll be a world beater.

I'm proud of it but I still don't want them to get injured. John Egan is the main concern for me.

It's highly unlikely that Henderson will get near the first 11 so hopefully it will be a good experience for him. I'd love JOC to get a call up as it shows wider recognition for what he's achieved the last few years.

My attitude with England is "hope they win but won't get upset if they don't". I'll watch the tournaments and have seen England at the world cup in my early 20's but would now struggle to make special effort to watch friendlies or qualifiers, again it's not that I don't care it's just that I have other priorities in life.

In the Lampard/Gerrard/Terry days I wasn't in the slightest bit interested in what they did but that apathy has disappeared.

Having a son who is interested in football has also meant that I'm more likely to make an effort. I'd like to take him to Wembley to watch England one day, I remember going myself as a young whipper snapper to Terry Venables' first game in charge v Denmark.

Just about summed up my thoughts. Seen them once 1988 friendly England v Holland , Rijkaard, Gullit, Van Baston etc.

Personally i'd support whichever country has most United players in the team. I would however support a Yorkshire team

Mentally very strong is Deano, all the stick he got from those Leeds scumbags last year. Helps that we all love him

Well. Of course. There is a Yorkshire team. Playing in CONIFA. One of the alternatives to FIFA. But, I assume you're trolling & know that already.

Not at all trolling " Phil", no need to be abusive, assumptions are the mother of all mistakes. I'd forgotten there was actually a Yorkshire team already, but thanks for the " heads up"

CONIFA’s World Football Cup last year was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Yorkshire were nowhere to be seen mind.
I've basically decided I support too many SUFC & England teams & age groups, that YIFA is a step too far for me. But, good luck to all concerned

You’re missing out – where else can you experience witnessing the on- and off-pitch confusion as innovations like the Green Card are used for the first time? Or a football match featuring the bunch of weirdos that is the Isle of Man (or “Ellan Vannin” as they prefer to be called)?

You nearly got a like and then mentioned a Yorkshire team 😐

Maybe that was England v Netherlands....🇳🇱

Sorry. I was cack handedly referring to the recent news that the "Dutch Government" are trying to rebrand their country away from the "colloquial" name of Holland. Towards the actual/official name of The Netherlands. Which I find rather interesting.....

If Man United have a goalkeeping crisis, could they recall him? Does anyone know if that's a possibility?

I think you need to look up the phrase “transfer window“

Just answering the question woukd easier than this.

I'm not aware that there's a rule that loans cant be recalled outside the window.

Depends what’s in the contract. I’d be dissapointed if we allowed a call back clause.

That's what i thought too. We recalled a youngster a couple of years ago to sit on our bench, i seem to remember.

All Blades here. Not a clue why there's an urge for some to act like a tosser when people are acting an honest question. Really weird.

For the avoidance of doubt..

Loan players cannot be recalled outside the transfer window.
