Henderson for their goal

Dreadful keeping. Either come for it or stay back; don’t do neither. And he showed him the near post.

Really poor
Agree that it was really poor from Hendo, he looked as though he was going to rush out and from where I sat he looked as though he could of got it or at least make it difficult for the vertically challenged No 7!

'Evidently' to whom? 'Thick' for not noticing, was it a long holiday, no internet? Sorry I didn't notice, no posts for how long? Must be thick me!!

Thing is Akinbiyi there are really good threads on football matters such as Deadbat's match reports as you well know. Your comment on Henderson can be made there in the proper context and as to be expected the goal wad featured there.

Henderson has played very well since the Liverpool game with outstanding saves at Norwich and Spurs. It's over the top to feature his single mistake in a new thread.
I couldn’t give a fuck

A poor goal overall, similar to Newcastle in that a long ball flicked on takes out the whole team. I think the other centre backs Bash & JOC were too close to Egan & could have been 5 yards further back & JOC closer to Delofeou. This was compounded by poor positioning by Deano. But its football & to be honest overall we were not at our best so a point was no bad result.

Second game in a row he has been near-posted and beaten again far too easily. It would have been a world class save to stop it but he has a tendency to become wrong-footed and the too slow to react. He really needs to work on that.

Don’t think he’s at fault at all today for the 2nd. Through the defenders legs and largely unsighted. Being hyper critical he can move either way but he gambled on what De Bruyne would do 7/10 times.

I think my issue tonight was his reaction time. His feet movement is odd. He seems to take far too much of a step to the left and totally unable to even think about getting down to the shot. There's not much, if any, bounce. Seems too flat footed. I doubt many keeper would have save KDB's shot but I'd have hoped they would at least have reacted to it.

I know that young keepers are taught not to jump just as the player is shooting, he did do that today but in the heat of a game instinct must play a big part.

I wouldn't blame him at all for the second goal but I do agree he left too much room at his near (left) post for the first. Not saying he should have saved it by any means, just needed slightly better positioning.

De Bruyne gives him the eyes & body shape that he’s gonna curl it around him , as said instinct plays a part in all keepers movements on saves , KDB then cleverly cuts in & the shot goes through the defenders leg also .. think the criticism of Hendo on this is harsh
Its very harsh, he got done with a bit of a dummy really.

This the same poor Hendo who saved us AT Watford
FFS some real goldfish fuckers on this forum
Isn’t there a saying about being deaf , dumb and blind

It should never have got to KDB in the first place a lazy tackle just after half way opened up the defence. UTB
My point as I watched the game he should have done what Enda did later stop the run by fouling there player and taking one for the team , and stopping the danger and let us regroup plenty behind so not a red card and bookings have gone up to 10 as well so no chance of suspension
This should have been done v Southampton at home as well

Highlighted the reason your post is a bit harsh

KDB's goal was pure class, can't deny he's a class of his own.
That touch on the byline for that counter when he just cushioned a ball coming from the sky straight to Aguero was absolutely beautiful

KDB and VVD by far the best 2 in the Prem from what I’ve seen against us

Have you slagged off Norwood yet ?

Not yet pal. Thought he played well yesterday, cracking ball for Mousset who I expected to score. Would it please you if I uniformly said every player had a great game every week?
