I am a Bradford City fan in piece. Good luck for the new season and hope to see lots of you at Valley Parade when you visit on the 24th Aug. It should be a really good game with a great atmosphere. Expecting the attendance to be at least 14/15,000 as I expect you to bring a lot. Not sure how many tickets you will get but would guess at 2,500-3000.

Personally my expectations are promotion to the championship or at least look like mounting a convincing play off challenge, also to take the game to opponents and not roll over and have our bellies tickled at home, incidently I fully expect us to beat bradford city home and away, but sincerely hope you stay up. Good luck for the season pal.

Well, as a Sheff Utd fan living in Bradford, I can honestly say our expectations are not as high as Bradford's! Finishing 7th in League 2 and getting to the Carling cup final has given City fans (Yes, i refer to Bradford as 'city', really annoys me when people think I mean Man City) a bit of false hope. We will/should be top 8, and I expect you to be mid-table and nothing more. Good luck, and I love Bradford doing well, my second team and our mutual hatred of Leeds over the years has brought us closer, just make sure your fans don't get ahead of themselves!

Hi Liverford, unfortunately I won't be attending( although I'm only 5 miles from Valley Parade) as the numbnuts at the football league have decided this game should take place in the middle of the cricket season. I will be hearing the sound of leather on willow rather than "tek 'im art" or "thar's shite ..(insert fall guy's name), geroff". Like Blader I believe city fans to be living in cloud cuckoo land as they believe this division is no better than division 4 and expect to be right up there.
