The determination and pace of Ogbene really showed, it was a fantastic effort, although shown above it was in which is great, I don’t think there any many players at the club that would have the pace to get on the end of that and the ball in was perfect too. We need options in the centre especially if we end up playing Chong on the left as he likes to have a run at players too to get a cross in or a shot away. Need almost a corner kick routine of front post, back post and one around the D ready to pick up the second ball. Rumours have it that Ipswich want to move Ogbene on for a fee be interesting to know what that is.

We don't often enough push the ball past a player and have a good old fashioned sprint to getting back on the ball.

Hopefully with Ogbene getting more match fitness after his injury it's something we'll see more of.

Is he the first old fashioned right winger we've had since Jamal Campbell Ryce?

Thats why Edwards scored do many goals. He was intelligent enough to have a great strength in finding space in the oppositions penalty area and he also often made a late run to get in front of the near post defender to get a touch from a cross coming in from the by-line - usually crossed by the legend that is Colin Morris. Morris made many many goals for King Keith by getting to the by-line and pulling it back. Why some managers have moved away from this basic attacking skill is questionable.
It's not just questionable, it's downright daft.

All wingers playing on the wrong side does is to force them to come back inside and close down their options.

Balls crossed in from the byline are a nightmare to defend, and if you don't get someone on the end of it there's every chance that the defence will and just maybe put it in their own net whilst trying to clear it.

Playing the whole game on the wrong side is crazy. Going inverted briefly just to mix it up is fine in my eyes
