Seriously under rated and just a genuine, nice , normal guy.

He turned us round and is just as responsibly for our current position as Wilder is.

He did a fantastic job to get us that promotion under those circumstances which is just as important to us financially as the first one. If not more. Shudder to think of where we’d be financially without that when we weren’t paying the sky bill or the undersoil heating

There may be some exceptions (I can't be bothered to go and look it up) but teams that have such a disproportionately high number of draws tend not to end up automatically promoted.

If Burnley don't start to turn more draws into wins during the business end of the season then I can't see them being such an exception.

I think Sunderland are a very good team but they have a fair few instances where they drop the points (as do we but obviously not quite as often).

I'm not saying for one minute that I think we have auto promotion all wrapped up at all, but I am a little more confident now and of course there will be the twists and turns as is always the case. Generally speaking, teams that have spent most of the season in the automatic spots (as we have) end up going up in them after 46 matches.
