That is player power for you . The usual crack is that you cannot sack the players so you have to sack the manager , when players conspire to fuck things up . Well this time the boot is on the other foot as 90% of the players can be out of the door this summer .

These players could not care a fuck about SUFC , as they know there on there way . Forget trying and getting a injury for this club , fuck em , I won't be here next season. That's there mentality .

For Christ sake don't start giving the players an excuse. The players are crap and as has already been said are not fit to wear the shirt. They get paid good money to work hard and perform. I have no respect for any of them. Most will be in league 2 next year anyway cos that's about their level.

I think it's clear it's not working, look at Chelsea, Mourinho is not a bad manager just couldn't get things going this season so he had to go, Hiddink comes in and is unbeaten for 11 games now. The same needs to happen with us and you never know, at the end of the day we are only 4 points off 6th.

I'd agree with that. There are so many that have their contracts ending in the squad, they must know the game's up. All a bit of a mess really, but whoever's in the hot seat this pre-season has a huge opportunity to reshape the squad and get it right.

People assume we were in good form last season but all I remember is us coasting into the play-offs knowing we were never good enough to win them.

I don't nomally believe in this approach but honestly think that is what we should do now. A few of the experienced players mixed in with 6 or 7 players from the youth set up at least gives the season some point to it.

Watching a number of those players not appear to give a shit is not how I want to spend the next few weeks

I agree the players are to blame, but i can't face Adkins being trusted to sort the mess out. It's never going to work, he hasn't got a clue. If there was some kind of glimmer of hope, but there's nothing. Everything he does goes wrong. That's the example I was thinking about . Also the S6 getting rid of Megson and bringing in Jones . We tried that route getting rid of Wilson and the power of Morgan would see us through the play offs .

We get rid of Adkins , there is only 3 madcap managers to me who could kick arse and kick start our season . All SUFC purist / snobs will say no chance - to me Warnock , Fat bloke at Leeds , Ian Holliway .

One of them to the end of the season , we couldn't be any worst off and might even kick start us for the play offs . . Me I would stick with Adkins but it does loknlike he has thrown the towell in . Bet he still wants to get paid.

Im seriously in a quandry because I want to keep faith with a manager at some point & dont want to be a sacking club like chelsea but then 12th in league 1 is a catastrophe. But a lack of patience was a big fault under clough as everyday that goes by im realising we shouldve stuck. So dont want to make same mistake twice
