Unimpressive by scoreline not by performance. Shrewsbury would've got spanked at 11v11, we were already in command when Sharp had the pen.

At one point I counted 17 players in the Shrewsbury box... SEVENTEEN! You try picking a spot.

We've absolutely hammered these teams. Shrews and Bury well and truly parked the bus. We won. They were games we wouldn't have won last season.

Charlton, I couldn't go but we controlled the game from the 1st to the last. Chris Wilder was angry at letting them in as we should've been out of sight.

We'd have won more comfortably against Shrews and Shakers if they'd kept 11 men on the pitch. That's my honest opinion.

9 men means a 9 man defence and both those games turned into an attack v defence training exercise. But we still won!

Yesterday we bossed it for the whole game - and you can't knock that against a team who are better than their current form suggests. Expect them to start climbing the table very soon.

The only disappointment is that we lack a bit of creative spark up front to undo teams by racing at them head on and getting around the back of them more often. But also yesterday we defended that free kick abysmally.

Wheels off? No way! Not even a slow puncture! Just a little hiccup along the way to promotion!

I said on the shout box, tonight was a blip. A blip had to come, it was inevitable. The fact that many of us feel so disappointed is because of how far we've come this year, the very fact that I was hanging on in hope in the last few minutes is very telling. In Wilder we have a man with a plan, a die hard Blade and he has instilled a never say die attitude. That is why I believe we'd snatch something right to the end, and Christ - we nearly did - a penalty miss and a ruled out goal. We could have, and arguably should have won it. How long has it been since we had that faith, or we had a side with this much passion, or indeed we went 15 unbeaten??
Tonight was a blip yes, and how we now respond is a test, but not a massive one, given that its still November.
