Have the bridges been burned forever?

Just wanted to get your opinion's on whether you believe The Blades and West Ham, can and ever will have an amicable relationship again?

I never used to have a problem a problem with the "ammers" as a club, or their fans, until it came round to us disagreeing with them that points should be deducted.

Since then though, all we have seen is WHU fans gloating about us being relegated (yes I do know this is only a minority, but it's still a large portion) and trying to claim their beloved club has done no wrong.

Now I don't want this thread to go in to the in's and outs and about who is wrong, do we honestly think we can get along with such a club again?

It's because of such fan's that I would like to see them demoted from the Premiership, however unlikely that case might be, and us to be re-instated, just to shut them up and see if they come around gloating then!

They are beneath my contempt, so I dont acknowledge their existence, along with two othe clubs supporter, Dirty Leeds and the swill.

A serious answer though is that it is only a minority of their fans that have been gloating and ultimatly our argument is not with West Ham fans but with the Premier League.

Absolutely no chance of anyone making up, the war has only just begun in my opinion. It's not just us who will hate them, nearly everybody else in the country will hate them too. As Leeds are now crashing down the leagues and are now the club for everyone to laugh at, the new club for everyone to hate is West Ham.

I suppose living and working with them gives me a slightly different perspective. In her younger days my Clara even played for West Ham Ladies (was difficult for a lifelong Chelsea fan), so hate doesn't even enter the equation. Good and bad at every single ground in the country and people need to accept and recognise that, but the banter is still there and healthy for me here. Some of the vitriol expressed here isn't my opinion and equally, the stuff expressed on the West Ham sites towards all Blades isn't voiced personally at me by Irons that I know personally.
