Have some calmed down now?

Moaning about people leaving a few mins early is ridiculous.

Why do those giving up on the last mins of the first half never get the same grilling.

You can’t leave 5mins from end of the game but it’s acceptable to leave 5-10 mins before HT to get the beers in.

I sometimes do one or the other or sometimes neither but I never get why it bothers anyone else.

Neither Laurence Olivier nor Jon Gielgud would have entertained anyone leaving before the performance ended so why should Gus Hamer and Callum O'Hare have to put up with it?

At the end of the day it's personal choice. The problem as I see it is they are supposed to be supporters and when the going gets tough it's a bit pathetic to see the 'supporters' bottling out - I do understand some people have good reason to leave early - but just not being able to hack it isn't one of them.

24 hours have past now and i'm reyt as rain, whats past is past you cant alter it.

I'm already plotting the downfall of QPR.....speaking of which i am glad Dunne scored in their last game....means he will probably score an OG against us the big donkey.

Any half decent manager would have this squad in the top 2.
Presumably you’d want to replace him with someone better though than him though, and - given that it would cost a bit of money - someone quite a lot better. No point gretting someone who’s pretty much the same. So I’m guessing we’d be looking for someone who would have got this squad into a better position with another, what, 3 wins? An extra 9 points by this stage in the season? Maybe 10?

So we’re thinking we could get someone in charge who’s good enough to get 81 or 82 points out of 34 games, putting us on course for 110 points by the end of the season. Which is more points than any team has ever got in the football league. Ever.

If the manager existed who could get 110 points, with this team, in these circumstances, at Sheffield United, I think there is a distinct possibly he would rapidly be offered a more lucrative job!

The mass walk outs whenever things turn sour are incredibly disappointing. Yes some people have to leave a bit early anyway to beat the traffic etc, but it must be an extra kick in the nuts for the players and management team when they see the stands empty like that. If it had been a performance in line with last season it's understandable, but the lads gave it everything last night.
Mass leaving is meant to be a kick in the nuts for a management team who we feel have demonstrated total incompetence in their management of the game.

It is also the only way that fans can send a message to the owners about their opinions.

Fans are not employees of the Club - if anything it is the other way round.

You have the right to stay and we have the right to walk out - just because you disagree doesn't make you right.

If Wilder had got it completely wrong, and the players had not put in the effort required, I would agree 100%. But I don't think that happened in either case.

He got the tactics spot on for a while, but admittedly the structure of the team was completely messed up after his substitutions and we did back off too much in the 2nd half. The players really did run themselves into the ground though.

Anyway we can disagree. I am just expressing an opinion, rather than proclaiming to be right and I always try to see both sides.👍

I left before the final whistle, when the 3rd went in. I couldn't face walking past the Leeds fans, if they weren't to be kept behind, so I left. Not sorry. That was my 31st league game of the season. Got out of the car park quickly too, which was nice
Same here, left on their 3rd, totally devastated. Was impressed how we went at them and competed with the best team in the league. On a different day we win that :(
Can't fault Wilder for going for it.

Still 12 to go so let's go for it!

and this is what concerns me with wilder was a 100% wilder fan first time round but have to admit im 50/50 this time round for me hes just not been flexible with tactics in quite a few games this season and just a little naive he just seems a bit stubborn on changing things that most in the ground can see arnt working we got totally undone monday night by leeds wide players and full backs down both sides yet nothing was done in that 2nd half to prevent it and thats where leeds won that game

This season isn’t the problem. Our superior wage budget is taking care of the results against a lot of the dross in the league.

Next season will be the issue when he has money to spend and insists on buying British.

Maybe - Luton’s superior wage budget isn’t helping them much though. Teams with higher wages should get better results, but it doesn’t always happen as Man Utd are finding; the manager still has to do a good job too. I think it’s harsh to look at the team’s performance so far and say, ‘Any manager would have got the exact same results’. It may be true that Wilder is not a good enough manager to be successful with a team in the premier league - I hope we get to find out how he does with this team there.
However, I don’t think he would reject all players except British ones. He seemed positive about signing Berge, and was very keen for Hamer and Souza to be here this year. Same for Anel.

More generally, I cannot see any way we could finish above any of the teams currently 1-16 in the Premier league, and I think whoever the manager is, the chances of us not being relegated (if we go up) are slim. I still hope we go up though, and I hope we get to find out how wilder does.

It's all about realistic expectations. Likewise, I would like us to go up but with the proviso that games aren't accompanied by mass doom and gloom as soon as we go behind - which doubtless we will in most games.

I'm happy to have a sprinkling of foreign players but not the type of player described as 'fancy Dans' by a Manchester United friend of mine a few years ago - Ronaldo by the way

Leaving early is fucking shite - but what's it like at other grounds?

Is it just part of the drugged up and zoned out society we are now.

I didn't get my dopamine hit here - the useless cunts - I can't even be arsed to hang around and beg for a shirt. I'm fucking off home to tug on the crack pipe of TikTok or Instagram or OnlyFannies.

i dont think we that far which is a positive. just need a defence up to the standards of the rest of the team & we will have the best team since 2019

just a pity about souttar its derailed our season somewhat if he had stayed fit we would have been clear at the top of the league now and thats why wilder has to ditch the anel/robbo pairing and put holding in whichever set up he favours were not finishing top 2 with anel and robbo as a pairing

Just a thought...but did Meslier actually make a save apart from the fumbles in the first half?

We actually didn't create much at all after that as far as I can remember. We never do.

Yea, properly calmed down, even thought cannon offered something. Just need the 11 to get 9 wins and we’re up. Burnley won’t catch us drawing what they do
