It works pretty well in all other major sports but the referee should be the man in charge not the other way round.
VAR/goal line tech can stay but should only be used if the ref is unsure on something and requests it to be checked or if some kind of challenge system is in place.
Michael Oliver would have been empowered to just give the goal himself rather than "computer says no" and having no choice but to go along with it.
