Watching it back his knee looked swollen already.Yeah looked bad. Knee or Ankle ligaments most probably.
Huge blow if so.

Yeah was my immediate reaction ACL although he did limp off. I put that down to the stretcher not being long enough !Watching it back his knee looked swollen already.
The thread title is ‘Harry Soutar’ and so is the topic of discussion, which I have commented on. Totally baffled how you have come to the conclusion that I could be also talking about his centre half partner while commenting on the topic, Harry Souter.
He is great in the Championship and any club wanting out of this league would be daft not to sign him. The PL is a very different game of football to the Championship, the ball is not getting lumped about in air like this season, it is a very fast paced game, played on the floor at a quick pace with very intelligent players. We have seen this first hand just last season. Apart from corners every coach worth their salt would make sure no ball goes in the air near him while also very much targeting him on the ground. There is a reason he is not playing in the PL now.
Just my opinion which doesn’t make me right![]()
Didn’t look like a knee injury. It wasn’t load bearing. My educated guess is Achilles injury.Watching it back his knee looked swollen already.
Any 6/4 minimum height CB’s about that are good on the ball and quick?
Doubt it, they’ll want us paying his wages or a percentage of them as agreed. Of course we can get another loan in because he won’t be in the matchday squad but Leicester aren’t going to cancel the deal for us if they don’t have to.Does he go back to his parent club if he has a season ending injury ? is the loan deal cancelled when season ending injury is confirmed ?
All depends on what's in the agreement, however, most clubs would prefer serious injuries to be overseen by their own medical terms.Does he go back to his parent club if he has a season ending injury ? is the loan deal cancelled when season ending injury is confirmed ?
I don’t understand what you’re saying? How would we possibly know that??
Yes, there was a recall if he didn't play a certain number of games but how does that tie in with injuries? And sending him back?
Yeah was my immediate reaction ACL although he did limp off. I put that down to the stretcher not being long enough !
Desperately sad.

Ah sorryI don’t understand what you’re saying?
I posted before his injury, that he couldn’t be recalled.
None weight bearing not goodDepends how you define a limp. His left foot was hanging above the ground, taking no weight at all. More an assisted hop than a limp.
I’m afraid I’d be taking no encouragement at all from the way he left the pitch. Desperately disappointing.
GLTTL.
Having badly sprained my ankles and broken one (plates, screws etc) then I am hoping it is a bad sprain, they are incredibly painful, mine were more painful than the break.None weight bearing not good
Either way highlights the need for another CB. Not confident to have RND and Baptiste as backup. Given Gilchrist is holding RB at min too.
No one is springing to mind.
Boly a good shout, fits the experience criteria CW wants more than Omobamidele and is a unit like Souttar. If Souttar is bad I wouldn't mind Willy Bolt from Forest who barely gets a look in there. Forest are doing very well of course so may be willing to let him go. Could be a great signing that. Maybe it's unlikely but not impossible.
