I think Darling will be a very good signing, his defensive stats are skewed due to the way Swansea play so don't let that put you off.Cheers for the info Slug .
Expected this to be the case. Low risk signing. I don't think he's a substantial improvement on what we have, but provides some much needed depth for the run-in.
Do you know if Seriki is gone for the season?
Might be compensated by a top 2 defensive midfield pairing. We won't have a top 2 standard CB pairing then
How very dare you, not our system. Sideways, backwards, backwards sideway, quick forward, (voice from dugout, stop that attacking nonsense we’re not her to win and entertain gerrit backwards). Rinse repeatWe're going to have to start scoring goals
Would have preferred Dunne tbh, Darling has better progression stats (mainly because of way Swansea play) buy Dunne has better stats in terms of shot creating actions, expected goals, expected assists as well as more tackles and interceptions per 90 in the final 3rd.Darling is our preferred choice over Dunne. Expect it to be done this weekend.
Well that's obvious, one plays full back with a bit of licence to get forward. The other is a centre half (and I don't want my centre half to be making tackles and interceptions in the final third). You're not comparing apples with apples.Dunne has better stats in terms of shot creating actions, expected goals, expected assists as well as more tackles and interceptions per 90 in the final 3rd
thats a very good point souza and choudray give us extra protection if we carry on playing 4 at the back pretty sure if darling comes in robinson goes out and anel goes back to lcb still think top 2 is achievable but we have to start playing with more tempo and no more of this slow sideways backwards to cooper style of footballMight be compensated by a top 2 defensive midfield pairing.
That'll never catch onWe're going to have to start scoring goals

Dunne has played at CB 11 times for QPR this season. They've won 2, drawn 4 and lost 5. Relegation form.Darling = absolute play offs signing
Dunne = slight chance of autos signing
IMO

Dunne has played at RB 20 times. They've won 7, drawn 7 and lost 6. Solidly midtable form.
That would suggest that he is a better right back than centre half and would therefore be the obvious play off signing for us.
Don't worry, I only mean up to 2 (thought it goes without saying)That'll never catch on

Might be the next accidental Wilder tactical revolution - very attacking CBs and very defensive DMsMight be compensated by a top 2 defensive midfield pairing.
Both = champions league??Darling = absolute play offs signing
Dunne = slight chance of autos signing
IMO
Both together would actually form a decent CB pairing. One hard cunt and one fancy boy. As it is we'll have 2 fancy boysBoth = champions league??

And yet somehow we are in an automatic promotion position, only two points behind the leaders. How very dare you, not our system. Sideways, backwards, backwards sideway, quick forward, (voice from dugout, stop that attacking nonsense we’re not her to win and entertain gerrit backwards). Rinse repeat
My itk sources sayExpect it to be done (Dunne)
Any idea on fee? Some outrageous suggestions floating around.
Couple of years old this and from his time at MK but can't find a Swansea one.
I think he will be really popular here![]()
I blame the royal family. People born around the same time as Prince Harry (early 80s) lijed the name and gave it to their own kids 20 years later. Hence so many Harrys in that generation. A similar phenomenon to the huge number of Davids (including me) among the Boomers. We were all named after the Queen’s Uncle David.I like this tactic of replacing a Harry with two Harrii. Maybe our end goal is to field an entire starting XI of them.

Darling may be the better at CB but Dunne is much more in the mould of what we need
