I would much rather play Seriki than bring Clarke or Gilchrist back. Neither are any upgrade so what's the point? Is he not back now playing u-21?
Canāt really see the point of bringing back either of the two players from last season. The only reason that they might be considered is because they know the club. We need to confirm Seriki as our first choice and not disrupt his development for another clubs player
probably cheaper than choudrayI would much rather play Seriki than bring Clarke or Gilchrist back. Neither are any upgrade so what's the point?

can't comment on the sending off, but unless they've got a quality RB ahead of him, this might say more about West Brom's manager than it does about Gilchrist. Still if they're not convinced about him I think it would be a good use of £2 million.
Choudhury was poor yesterdayprobably cheaper than choudray
playing out of position i believe at left back cant judge him on that i would still have him back if finances permittedChoudhury was poor yesterday
Harry Clarke was useless in my view. No thanks.
Can't tell if sarcasm... you think Gilchrist was a good enough player to singlehandedly improve WBA's fortunes?
You quoted the wrong post but its OK I know you meant to quote me. Nah not single handedly, but I think benching him (and barely giving him a chance) so he can play some no mark player instead is a sign of a manager that doesn't know a good player when he's got one. Which is not what you want from a manager.
I actually thought our win ratio/clean sheets/goals conceded was better in the first half of the season. (When Gilchrist started most games)
Obviously Souttar played a part but not as many games as Alfie.
Always felt more solid and confident with Gilchrist at RB out of the 100 we had.
Agree. He wasnt even that bad at left back yesterday. Better than Luke Thomas and it is Thomas's natural position!playing out of position i believe at left back cant judge him on that i would still have him back if finances permitted
That was down to Souttar, Arblaster and Souza starting most games.
Gilchrist was constantly being bailed out and offered nothing going forwards.
He's definitely limited going forward and I'd rather Seriki for sure. Defensively though I thought he was pretty sound and no matter how good Souttar was, to give Gilchrist no credit for one of the most impressive defensive records in the championship is a huge disservice.
Stick Choudhury / Seriki / (even) Clarke into that XI in the first half of the season and we'd have looked better than we did with Gilchrist.
He's not kicked on at WBA because he isn't very good. Wilder & Mason haven't missed something.
doesnt look as though choudray will be coming in with the hoever news which has just brokenAgree. He wasnt even that bad at left back yesterday. Better than Luke Thomas and it is Thomas's natural position!
You're daft as a brushHave he been swept up?
