That’s not the point, and you well know it. Long range strikes are great (and Berge in particular needs to add this particular feather to his bow, along with aerial power). But a thirty-yarder is a ‘shot’ (or ‘strike’ if you like) is not a ‘finish’. Keith Edwards finishes. Billy Sharp finishes. But Tony Currie doesn’t finish. He lofts, powers, strikes, drives, guides and curls.

That - for me - is a great finish.
He’ll have it coached out if him though. Overrated this shooting malarkey, so it seems from the few times we ever do it very well.

He'll go to a League two team to advance his education.

We seem to have a good production line on the lwb area. Make you wonder why we went for Lowe when Boyes is 19 and RND is 22.

When you then consider you have Stevens, Osborn, Robinson plus perhaps Bryan who can play there too.

I get that when Freeman was released Osborn was then back up to Fleck but I don't see a need to be so robust in squad overview.
