Darragh is all about the add ons and sell on clauses. He knows clubs won’t gamble too much money on signing League 1 and 2 players.

They’ve been unlucky not to be promoted on several occasions. They don’t have a massive budget compared to most relegated championship sides and buy many players from non-league and sell them on for a profit. He’s done okay imo.

A bit of a daft comment that. He knows his limit and the clubs. The odd promotion to the Championship is probably the best they can expect with the resources they have at their disposal. If he can find further investment or sell the club then maybe they can sustain Championship football.

He keeps them steady and uses player sales to do so.

Last time they were in the championship they had better crowds than Luton and Bournemouth. For as much hype as he gets for being a good owner those two clubs have done significantly better.

I'd say Peterborough being at worst a top League 1 team with forays into the Championship is a very good return for a club of their stature.

Without very serious investment I don't see how they could do any better.
