I wouldn't be surprised to him leave Brentford, to us would be a bit strange as he would find a lot of suitors in the championship. Harlee is a good player but is outspoken and in the opinion of some Brentford fans has a massive ego. This season he will be contending with Bjelland, Calvet, Tarkowski and O'Connell for the centre back place.
Bellend? Had a few of them play for us over the years :p

Kids definitely moving house. This talk of his misses got me searching and she lets slip on that fact.

Has been captain for their pre-season and is a popular choice to be captain for the season.

Not sure if he will be tempted with £££'s as he's on around £7k a week at Brentford. I imagine Billy would have wanted a fair wage and we still have about 96 players on the books so I can't see us having a transfer war chest due to ffp? I may be wrong....

Craig Alcock lives at Wickersley according to my mate (who lives at Wickersley).

I wonder if he sells his house through Redbrik they'll cover his wages for the season...
Because nobody else is going to pay the man a wage to play football.

Cant say I know of any current footballers living in Dronny. Perhaps they've finally been priced out?
Neither do I, maybe only top tier division players can afford living in Dronfield. Tony Currie, Len Badger, Ted Hemsley, Vinnie Jones, Simon Tracey, Paul Beesley, Vas Borbokis, Howard Kendall, Gareth Taylor plus some Wendy players such as Jeff Johnson, Brian Joicey etc

Bees fan here.....was very surprised to read that you guys think harlee is on the verge of signing.....he was pretty much first choice cb last season and although he got a bit of stick for a few mistakes and the things he said interviews ( a bit to from the heart) I can't see him wanting to drop a division esp at the moment he'll be starting the season as first choice of only two right sided cb

imo if he was to leave London where he's just bought a house it'd be at the end of the season when he'll be on a bosman but you never know in football

Mike knows, well that's what some on here reckon.

Someone on here thinks he's just about to move house, not sure though.

How many CB's do you have by the way? Think someone else said you have 4 of which he is 3rd choice.

He's just bought a house in Brentford I believe

We have Bjelland, dean, tarkowski , tarbet and oconnell and as it stands he's second choice after Bjelland IMO ...Dean and Tarky are he only right footed players of the five

I just read an interview from May saying he was worried for his future.
Obviously the manager situation sparked that but a young kid like this will need to feel wanted.
It'd be a massive signing however unlikely. I don't mean to sound like a pig but if there's one reason he would drop down a division it's because...
"We're kinda a big deal"

No offence, but Brentford to United will always be a step up, even if we are currently in a division below.

People might laugh but are right, at his age you look to the future he may realise that he might benefit from a season in league 1 with a team on the up rather than a team who may well struggle in the championship.

It's a fair enough assumption to make, you get bigger crowds and are a bigger club but seem to have been pretty poorly run over the last few years although Adkins is a good manager but BFC have spent well this summer almost £6m spent including 5 internationals and with a new stadium on the horizon the future isn't looking bad.....Harlee may sign who knows but I'd be really shocked if he did .

See West London I'd be more inclined to believe you if you'd said that young Harlee had bought a place in Richmond or Kew...rather than Brentford. Brentford's for people like me who are priced out of the nicer areas :D

He'd be a cracking signing for us but it's got to go down as a long shot at best. Maybe he doesn't fit the Moneyball profile?
