yeah i can understand that going away is expensive and times are tight, but if reports are true wev'e only sold 600 tickets for sunday now this is only 3% of our season ticket holders never mind our fanbase

To be fair, it's an expensive, long trip down there on a Sunday, and Mother's Day.

I'll still be there of course but I'm surprised we've sold 600 to be honest.

The problem is, you can't force people to go.

People have got money worries and many people may have lost their jobs. Coupled with the fact that Cardiff can be a bit hairy at times, it's probably about right.

Like I said in the match thread, Derby and Hull aside, who has brought a decent following to the Lane recently?

i was amazed when i saw how many birmingham brought t'lane but the thing is we took 800 to swansea when things were alot less exciting on the pitch,it doesn't really i would have 600 that want to be there. rather than the 21,000 that look as if they've wondered into the lane by mistake at home games

Mother's Day and the TV coverage may account for the 200 difference between Cardiff and Swansea. That and Cardiff fans being the biggest bunch of barbarians to venture forth since Genghis and his boys.

wasn't aware it was on tv!
thought it was moved because there's a six nations rugby match on saturday

I'm sure when I went to ninian park a few seasons back when Ndlovu scored we had about only 251 there?
It was live on sky and 5.15pm kick-off.
Also the cardiff fans were trying to pick us all off thru the line of plod on the way out. Friendlier hosts you could'nt wish for!:D

Those 21,000 have still paid good hard earned money for there season tickets!!! Alot of people have probably got better things to do on sunday than travel down to cardiff. i.e mothers day, sunday football, seeing there kids (those who only see them weekends). I've also seen on tinternet that there gonna give some fans a few slaps for what happend to there coaches at lane!!
